Westview is a public high school located in Brooklyn Heights, with most of the students arriving from the surrounding affluent neighborhoods. Unwavering commitment to academic achievement, hard work, dedication, and personal responsibility are expected of all students, regardless of their background and life circumstances. The legacy of success is conditioned on the generous donations of parents and alumni. These contributions play a vital role in maintaining the school's expansive facilities, school trips, and extracurricular programs.

Primarily used by the Thunderbolts football team, these fields also double as a training ground for the high school's soccer squad. The bleachers on either side of the football field can accommodate a thousand enthusiastic fans at best, so it's not unusual for the spectators to spill onto the track - especially if the Thunderbolts manage to make it to the playoffs.

The gym is also used for pep rallies, and serves as a backup assembly hall - there are more than enough seats there to accommodate the entire two-thousand student body.

Westview's swim team doesn't normally use the school's pool; they ride the bus to the local YMCA, where they can train in an Olympic-sized pool.

The auditorium is modeled after the Capitol Theatre in New York City, and features an elegant design, hand-molded ceilings and polished cut-glass chandeliers.
