"I told Verity all the time she needed to find a better place. If she's going to be a star, she should live like one.

Alright David, you must know which of these doors is hers. Lead the way and I'll get us in.
He rummaged around in his pockets, feeling the detritus and junk deposited there for something which would help make an impromptu lockpick.
Also, it is very cold for a California spring. Hovering in the mid to upper 30s.
"Aright Mr. Detective Agent man, do your thing I guess."

Inside the door is the entry hall of a cream colored apartment with modern, stream lined furniture. To the left of the door is a small bench, coat closet and lamp stand. To the right are several coat hooks, the hall continues to the left ahead and on the right is a door. Laid out, in odd fashion about the door and bench are every time that would have been contained within the closet. Not a haphazard jumble, each item seems to have been meticulously arranged and oriented as if each item had some religious significance. A shoe, an umbrella, a purse. Each is set on its own and posed for observation as if in a museum of modern life.
Further in the apartment, faint weeping can be heard.
As he stepped into the apartment he gave a look to the oddly laid out clothes before freezing at the sound of weeping. He turned back to David and Blake, putting a finger to his lips, before creeping further into the apartment.

He shoved the door open and took a single step inside.
Who are you? What are you doing here? he barked.
"Who is it? What's going on?"

David… David is that you? The woman calls stepping forward. The voice, while breathy and oddly echoed is unmistakable to David.
Verity steps from the shadows. She is wearing large sunglasses and a scarf that covers her blonde hair, but it is definitely the missing actress. She is wearing a stunning dress depicting flowers and made of fine silk.

Her hand is ice cold, it sends shivers down David's spine as she delicately strokes from cheek to chin. Would that we could have been closer... David. I know we couldn't... but maybe... we could have been the characters, and our actors could have truly been in love...
"Verity, I don't know what you're on or where you've been, but you have got to come back with us. Everyone has been looking for you! Not only that, but we got a movie to finish. Don't you remember? This movie is for the good of the Church."

Verity pauses before she snaps her hands on David’s wrists and speaks in a rush. David, let’s run away. Just you and I. Let’s find a place where we can just… be. Be who we are without anyone looking over our shoulders and telling us what we ought to be. David, please. Take me away from… from… all of this... the pleading in the woman is evident as she seems to be edging closer to the door, trying to tug David along.
Something changes in Verity quite abruptly as she releases David and stands straight. I was wrong to come here. I need to get back. She turns and moves to walk out of the apartment.

Spencer’s arm blocks Verity’s exit. She stops abruptly and she looks down at the blockage tilting her head oddly.
Let?
She reaches out icy fingers to stroke along Spencer’s forearm. As she does so, Spencer feels an odd prickling of his skin.
She turns her face to look at Blake, her gaze settling on his neck. I’m not okay.

The lights in the apartment begin to flicker intermittently and the chill air seems to become distinctly colder.
Discomfort gives way to frustration. "Verity, obviously something is going on up in your head and we want to help you. But right now you need to come back to the studio. You may not care about this movie anymore, but I do and as much as I hate to admit it, I need you! So lets go!"
As he says this he'll reach out to grab her wrist and pull her to the door.
To the others. "I think...I think we might need to get her to a doctor. She feels...cold."

David’s mind is not able to comprehend the strange feeling of Verity’s flesh. The woman calls to David over her shoulder I don’t feel… anything David. She turns to Spencer, Let me be clear, Mr. Shull. I am returning to the celebrity retreat as I’ve been told. You are free to follow me or not.. And she moves to step around Spencer’s blocking arm.
Ok, he glanced around at the others Lets go to the retreat then.
