Interest check: Starfinder 1e

Hello all,

I am not making a campaign yet, but after I finish a one-shot I am running I am thinking about trying a go at running a Starfinder 1e game. I say 1e only because 2e is on its way and I always wanted to run or play in a 1e game and fear after 2e there may not be much interest in the first edition.

Are people still interested in Starfinder 1e, or are people mostly waiting for 2e to come out and will focus on Pathfinder 2e in the meantime?

There's definitely at least some Starfinder interest here. I've played in two one-shots and am currently running a campaign of it on here.

There was a time where Starfinder games seemed cursed to fail shortly after launch. I think we've broken that curse and there are certainly fans on the site.

I'm still interested in SF 1E, only played one or two games on here and the curse befell them soon after. If you're looking for players eventually, I'd be up for joining.

That sounds like a fun game! I've only played Starfinder 1e a couple of times, but I'm interested in trying it again. I'm unlikely to be playing the second edition. As an old gamer, if I'm going to learn a new system, it has to be light and different.

I would be up for some Starfinder 1e, too (depending on how many games I'm in when you start!)

I bought the Starfinder 1E core rulebook to join some local games about one month before the world went to Covid hell, but I never got to play it, and it's been forgotten on the shelf ever since. I would love to blow the dust off of the old girl and give it a go!\

I'm not planning on buying Starfinder 2E yet, unless I find a game that I need it for.
