Interest Check: Mausritter

Mausritter is a game about mice and the adventures they get up to out there in the wild! Small adventurers in a big world, the mice will come face to face with bees, spiders, cats, snakes and more as they cross fen and field!
Player discretion is advised. Results may vary…
The Game: I’ve run Mausritter once before on GP. Since then, I’ve bought the Estate box set and am keen to run one (or more) adventures from that set with some players.

The Players: I’m looking to take between 4 to 5 brave mice on this adventure. Less is fine, if it shakes out that way! I’m looking for people that really want to get into some roleplay and imagine their tiny, tiny place in the Big House.

The Length: At least a couple of months, with posting daily, if possible. Failing that, we’d be looking to keep things moving at a fairly nice pace of 5 posts a week at least!

The Themes: Honestly, probably a little less mature than I usually run! I think the genre lends itself well to the fantastical and whimsical. That said, combat is brutal and unforgiving (for hero mice and their terrible foes)!

Mausritter with a mouse guard vibe or are you going for a more light heart setting?

It’ll be in the ballpark of Mouse Guard, yes! Players won’t necessarily be in a formal outfit looking to get a handle on things, but you can imagine that kind of world.

A cat comes to town, and it’s going to ruin everyone’s day! Expect losses!

The setting sounds great and I would be interested! However, never played the game before. Are you looking for players who have more experience with the game/system?

I want in! I won't have much free time in the next couple of days, but I'll have more after that.

Edit: I can't wait for it! I have never played a live-fast-die-young TTRPG, but I want to try it out!

I don't know a ton about this system, but I have been thinking about a game in this sort of setting since I first watched Arrietty. I would love to play, but I'd also be happy to just read along.

I’m not looking for any specific experience level, really! The game isn’t overly complex, so don’t let that stop you!

I would definitely be interested if the game isn't already full. I recently watched Mystery Quest play through a Mausritter scenario, and both the system and the setting look like a lot of fun.
