Chapter 2: Terrors of the Void

"No, we can discuss things here," says Imti, eager to protect Krux from further discomfort by having both a vampirate and a high-profile figure like a Xaryxian princess onboard. She steps away from the cell door to allow room for others to speak, or for the woman to be released.

Grimzod shrugs, "Have it your way," he says, unlocking the cell door and allowing the princess to walk free. He leads you up the stairs and into a chamber in the back with a desk and a few chairs, "This is the best I've got at the moment if we want some privacy."

The princess runs her hands through her hair to get out some snarls and sits in the chair furthest from the others, "Before we begin, why don't you tell me what my brother's armies have done this time?" she says, immediately taking the lead in the meeting despite being the prisoner.

Imti follows everyone into the room and declines to take a chair, preferring to lean against her broom by the wall and allow the others in her team to sit. "What do you know about seeding planets with crystals?" she asks of the princess. "I don't know if that's your brother, but your empire's ships have been pretty open about doing it."
