For out of character talk and shenanigans.

Hi! Thanks for inviting me and sharing the resources. Just a quick question. With all the resources I might get a bit lost. So I am thinking of creating the simplest possible character. How do I go by it and what's the best book I should use?

Unfortunately you're still going to need to look through all three rulebooks. Start with the Eberron for Savage Worlds book and pick an ancestry you like. Then use the character building checklist in the core rulebook. When you pick gear use the listings in the Fantasy Companion.

If you want to build something akin to a D&D or Pathfinder class there are notes on that on page 30 of the Fantasy Companion.

Are you thinking along the lines of a human with no arcane background? That might be the easiest build.

Thanks! I look to through it :). I'll figure it out and let you know if I have any questions :)

have anyone heard from @Knighthawke? He got kick from another game I'm in, due to being responsive without prior notification.
I was looking forward to our internal house sheninagans

I haven't heard from them. I sent a couple of PMs a few days ago to see if they're still with us. No go there. Just proceeding forward without them for the time being.

How do you all feel about me rolling your notice and stealth checks for you? I find it can speed play and help maintain suspense.

Fine by me.

My cardinal pbp rule, is that unless the player has some die-altering shenanigans, GM should roll when it does not deprive the player of meaning full choice and to speed up the game.
In short: Go for it!

Sounds good to me

Nope I think we lost him

Shame that. Oh well. I think four is plenty to keep going with so I’m not going to bother recruiting another player at this time.

Kue enjoys the meal with her new companions and ties to bond with these fellow prophect'iers
What (AI?) sorcery is this?!
That my friend, is the paid version of ChatGPT
I can have multiple chat -treads with it, and I have one for Lady Kue. It remember what it and I talked about

I just asked it "what do you know of lady kue now?"
Quote:
Here’s what I know about Lady Kue:

Identity: Kue is a soldier of House Tharashk. Despite her capabilities, she doesn’t see herself as a noble lady, but her skills and leadership earned her the nickname "Queen of Diamonds" within her group.

Role and Call Sign: She served as a quartermaster in a group of five men during the war. The team used card names as call signs: Jack, King, Clubs, Ace, and Nine. Kue, as the group's quartermaster and provider of magical protections, was their "Queen of Diamonds."

Specialty: Her group specialized in tracking and recovering lost or stolen artifacts tied to the Kingdom of Cyre, often operating in dangerous, hostile environments.

Post-War Life: After the war, the group disbanded, and the members went their separate ways. When Kue learned that Nine, the youngest and most reckless of the group, had died in a barfight, she traveled to Sharn to give him a proper burial.

Personality: Kue is practical, capable, and driven, with a strong sense of duty and loyalty to her comrades. She balances her emotional struggles with a steadfast exterior.

Fear of Deep Water: Kue has a deep-seated fear of deep water, rooted in traumatic experiences. When she explains this to others, she struggles to maintain her composure, reflecting how much it affects her.

Appearance and Traits:
She wears loose medieval armor with steampunk flair.
She has short blonde hair and a visible dragonmark tattoo on her lower neck.
She carries a sword and is often depicted in scenes of camaraderie with her friends.

Friends and Associates:
A human male ranger and a halfling rogue, both dressed in leather armor.
A hooded warforged with a mechanical face, who often accompanies her but does not eat.

Kue is a richly layered character with a mix of strength, vulnerability, and depth. Let me know if there’s anything you’d like to refine or add!
I haven't told it that I changed her house to Orien, as I wanted some interaction with Knighthawke's character. Unfortunately he ghosted us. I have to update ChatGPTs memory
