[Open for recruiting] DND 5e - Eberron

Recruiting three players for an ongoing campaign in Eberron.

Game Information
Overall our game is PG-13. No sexual content. There are dark themes, but no overly graphic descriptions of violence & gore.

We are fairly fast paced. Be prepared for 2-3 posts per week.

All official races and classes are permitted. We are currently level five. Levelling is milestone based.

Eberron: Rising From the Last War

I would definitely be interested in some Eberron. I played in the setting for a few months, but other than that, I am not very familiar with the setting. Do you have an artificer in the group? I've been toying with the concept of a poor half-elf scrapper working his way up as an artificer. With a 5th level character I'd have to consider that he had mostly succeeded and how that has worked out for him.

If something else would fit the group better, I can consider other options.

We do have an Warforged artificer armourer specialist, but he’s flavoured it more as part of his character’s design.

You’re welcome to try a different specialty.

I would love to play in an Eberron game. Please consider me.

My personal favorite Artificer is battle smith, so I would probably go that way if it isn't going to overlap too much.

How deep in the lore are you all? Eberron is my favorite setting. I’m running one irl and two pbp games in it right now.

Not too deep tbh. I’ve based the campaign around Salvation Outpost. The team is a group of scrappers, looking to profit off the remnants of the Mournland. Mostly warforged encounters so far.

Oh cool. Hm. I’ll have to figure out how my Gashkala orc got there.

That sounds fun. I've always wanted to try the eberron setting but never have yet. Looking at your group of what you have so far maybe kolbold sorcerer might be fun to add a little more magic

Does it make sense for him to come back per how he was written out? If not, then I can make a new character no issue.

I had to refresh my memory. Last I can find, he was playing cards, then didn’t rejoin the party in the morning.

Excellent! I look forward to hearing if I made the cut. Question for you. Do you allow crafting or is there downtime for that? Make a paralyzing potion from a beholder eye a cloak from a displacer beast etc. just wondering since the group is scrappers wasn't sure if you have any method for making from what is found.

I have been contemplating a downtime section for when the group isn’t on a quest. It hasn’t happened yet.

Concept:
During the war, she was an agent of one of the warring nations. She did infiltration and espionage, specialising in stealing magical secrets form enemies of her homeland. After the war, she lost her purpose for a while, but she was recently re-recruited by the intelligence service of her homeland. Or so she thinks: The agency has been infiltrated by a mysterious being that she is now sworn to. She thinks she gets her directions from her handler/spy master, but in reality this entity is her warlock patron (who may not have the best interests of her homeland at heart).

Crunch: Human charlatan, bard 1/ warlock 4 (archfey), pact of the tome, misty visions. I still need to iron out the details :-)
