In a rush, Eozindra finds the years of her education crashing down on her and she reels as her mind swims with histories of war and tragedy, of the battles for freedom, and of the cycles perpetuated by the powerful. Then her memories begin to claw upwards from the whirlpool of injustice and she sees her own life of predestined "peace and prosperity" begin to play out; the arranged political marriage, the gilded bars of the estate she was destined to never step foot outside of, the status quo maintained in the name of a harmony that only benefitted the privileged.
Her brows furrow as she gazes into the middle distance thoughtfully, piecing together a promise that originates from her soul and truest heart. She thinks of
Findal in hiding, the
Lord Mayor corrupted with his self-proclaimed power, their recent loss. Her eyes fall on
Adran for a sad moment of reflection, then her attention finds the orb at the end of the hall.
Maintaining the peace, she hears again and begins to find frustration seeping in through the spaces between her memories. She begins to speak, at first simply organizing her thoughts systematically.
"True peace is derived from the self-actualization of personal hopes and dreams. An illusion of peace at the expense of oppression does not deserve to be sanctified and protected. Tyranny reigns when the capable claim impartiality."
Her face sets with resolve.
"I swear to speak for those who cannot otherwise be heard. I will do my utmost to spread truth, educating those who are not destined to receive such knowledge so as to enrich their minds and nourish their spirits. As I am able, I shall fight to bring true balance to Greenwold’s inhabitants so that every man, woman, and child may find true inner peace regardless of station." OOC:
Whoops I think she just became a social revolutionary instead of doing what the statues want.
