To put all in roughly idea of space relations to each.

Sure I can work up a map. There is already one I have for the larger area. Only it is not scaled for including smaller villages and such but I should be able to adjust it to work for this.

Several of the players have pretty much gone through enough to get an idea of how the system works. So if you have interest in playing with other players just let me know in your Players & Characters thread or in OOC in your story thread.

This is intended as an intro game for players to get familiar with the system/site/role playing. All players are welcome to join for a solo intro session. As noted in the game details game welcome thread players are free to leave any time they wish to go try other systems and games. But if you enjoy the system you are free to stick around for a joint game/story or you can ask to transfer your character to the Tiny Shattered Lands game I set up and daryen now runs. It uses the same basic setting but with a new GM.

As a general policy if I do not hear from players for over 2 weeks I will contact them then remove them from the game if no response is received. Life happens and I understand if you can not reach out to me in advance, so if this happens to a player who wishes to resume the game all they have to do is reapply to the game as all story threads will be saved.

Alright, I will infer from WanderOne posting in response to cheesy9620 you are both up for a joint story so will move both of you in that direction. I will need to wrap up the current scene for each of you, or at least one, then ley you know.

We are getting more players in the game so I am opening the option to join up with others. Select your availability in the Cooperative Play poll and post to the thread if you want to add additional information.

Hey I'm working on my character. Does it have to be extremely detailed?

Character detail is up to the player. The Character Creation thread goes over the process but the basic requirements are : Heritage, Trade, Beliefs, 2x Traits, select Weapon, Add character avatar, and finish by submit character
Additional Options include: a minor magic a Hobby or personal interest, and add character history.

Some players enjoy creating a full character but it is not needed.

I like a short character bio, 1-3 sentences to help start creative process for intro story but can just use the heritage, trade, and belief if nothing is is given.

Hey! Thank you very much for the invitation. I'm a fan of the work you guys are doing here and I want to be able to help in the future, probably by doing my own intro on another system or, if I like Tiny D6, another post-graduation game. =)

One of the first things that immediately caught my attention was the lack of an edit button in the player threads.I usually disable the delete button, as you did, but the edit one is new to me. I wasn't even aware it was possible. When do you recommend me to do the same in my games?

I tend to allow players to edit their own posts in game threads which are at the top level of the game forum.
If you want to control edit at various levels then use sub-forums.

I disable post and edit for refference sections.
I usually allow players to edit their own posts in the Player section but most have not hit that button. It should now allow edits for playes in their threads.

Would everyone who wants or is willing to join a group please submit their posting availability in the Cooperative Play thread (select the rate on the 2nd post with the poll)

Just a heads up for newcomers concerning weekends. I often check and post on weekends but will not commit to it and do not expect others to update posts on weekends. So players in 1+ daily groups do not need to post then and can get back to them on Mondays

Any players who wish to not have their "Latest Game Posts" filled with other players actions and chat in this game let me know and I can move stories and player/character threads to subforums to allow filtering on what you see and thus get notices on.
