Gamers' Plane keeps chugging along, now with 11 years under the belt! I know there have been some rocky times, and thank you to all who've helped make this the wonderful site it's become. I hope I can keep giving you all the experience you deserve. I was wondering if we should do a contest this year, but honestly not sure, so for now, it's on hold.
That said, we will be doing our second Plane of Giving! For those unaware, it's GP's version of Secret Santa, and purely digital. Anyone who meets the criteria can sign up. Names will be drawn on Dec 15th, and you'll have till Jan 1st to send your gifts.
In order to sign up:
- You must have signed up for GP before Nov 1st, 2024
- You must have made at least 5 posts on the forum
- You must be in at least one active game as of the name drawing
That's it! As long as you're an active member here, it's a nice way to share some holiday cheer around!
How do you sign up? Here! I'm not doing the site form this year, given last year's problems. I'd rather build a clean system when I have time. But for now, you sign up on the google form. Every so often, I'll go through the list and PM those who sign up to make sure you signed up and someone else didn't do it for you. On Dec 15th, you'll get a PM with your match and their interests. You can send it to them anonymously or not, it's up to you, but they won't know it's you unless you tell them! The gift can be anything digital: gift cards, PDFs, art work you make, etc. Try to match the person's interests though. If you do sign up, get a name, and end up not sending a gift though, you will be barred from participating in the future. It's not fair for someone to get a gift if you do.
