Fucking hell, that hiatus turned out to be a bit longer than anticipated!!
So, to quickly recap my absence, I got diagnosed with cancer in my knee just over a year ago which turned out to be bad enough that I had to get a full knee replacement. The rehab of the knee went really poorly and we found out just before Christmas that it was due to an infection that had been hiding in the knee and thus I needed to get my prosthetic removed and go on crutches and antibiotics for three months, which I'm about 2/3rds through (I currently have a completely stiff left leg that I can't put more than about 20 kg weight on, it's been a joy). In April I'll then get surgery again and get a new knee prosthetic installed and hopefully everything will go better this time (my fifth surgery in about a year, hooray! I'm extremely fortunate that we have public healthcare in Denmark). Oh, and I also got divorced last year on top of everything, which while amicable has of course been pretty hard as well.
Anyway, with light coming at the end of a tunnel in regards to my knee (hopefully the light being daylight and not an oncoming train) and me being slightly more settled in my new life situation, I'm kinda getting the bug to return, but for now I just wanted to say...hey! I hope everyone are well!
