Hi.
As requested below:
• I am looking for 2–4 players.
• Who can post about daily during the week, occasionally less often. (Looking for QUANTITY of posts more than quality.)
• In a game that will go as long as we're interested. (My record for play by post is about 2 years on rpg.net forums. Actually using the same rules I'm proposing here.)
• I don't like graphic violence or sex. Allusions to pretty much anything could happen.
There is a very simple set of roleplaying rules called Dungeon Goons. It is barely more complicated than Tunnel Goons, from which it derives. Most of the added complexity is in providing starting coinage and a list of equipment that can be purchased with that coinage. The rest is a one-page magic system. I'm going to add some to it here: in assigning points among Brute, Skulker, or Erudite stats, roll one die 3x and look at the following tables:
1 Brave (+1 Brute)
2 Uncanny (+1 Erudite)
3 Clever (+1 Skulker)
4 Kind (+1 Erudite)
5 Engaging (+1 Skulker)
6 Tough (+1 Brute)
There is a fairly complicated world called the Land of Mag. 60 pages would be a lot to read, but the summary on the itch.io page will give you a good idea of what it's like.
I'm interested in running a game that starts in the basement of an abandoned palace in the old capital city of Magog, and may go anywhere from there.
