ATTRIBUTES

Every PC has four attributes, representing different ways they might address challenges. Each attribute has
a rating between -1 and +3. The higher the rating, the more likely the character is to succeed when using it.
You’ll use these attributes when you roll the dice.

The four attributes are:
Strength:
Agility:
Intelligence:
Willpower:

SKILLS
Each skill represents an area of trained expertise. Unlike attributes, skills do not have an associated number.
You either have a skill or you don’t. When you roll the dice and have an applicable skill, you may re-roll one
of the dice. You must accept the second result.

Athletics:
Culture:
Manipulation:
Pilot:
Science:
Sneak:
Survival:
Tech:


Characters start with two abilities that are taken from the classes.

MAKING AN OFFWORLDER

Follow this process to create your PC:

1.PICK A CLASS
There are four classes: Warrior, Outlaw, Geek, and Psychic. Pick one.
Your class gives you a few unique abilities to choose from. Pick any two.

2.CHOOSE YOUR SKILLS
Choose any two skills for your character.

3.ASSIGN YOUR ATTRIBUTES

Assign each of these numbers to one of your attributes, in any order you wish: +2, +1, 0, and -1.

4.RECORD YOUR HEALTH

Each PC has maximum Health equal to 12 plus their Strength and Agility attributes.

5.GET YOUR GEAR
You start with 3 Supply. Supply is an abstract amount, representing any items you might be carrying.

• You start with 3 Credits
• You start with one light weapon. Describe it.

Then choose either:
• An additional 7 credits
OR
• Light Armor worth 1-armor and a second weapon of any type.

6. NAME AND DESCRIBE YOUR CHARACTER

Li is a 2-rated PK with military psychic training. He also is trained in network infiltration and information extraction. His unit was right sized when the military realized that their soft skill psychics were more effective for getting information. He has a small and unpredictable pension payment. It's unpredictable because he's always on the move and it can take time to accomplish interplanetary bank transfers. Somewhere the money must be slowly accumulating? Li just wants thrills. He's not very disciplined.

Here's what I'm thinking of. I don't see this character as being the ship owner, I think it's works better if she's hired on as a pilot.

Attributes: Str -1, Ag +2, Int +0, Will +1
Abilities: Lucky, Reckless
Skills: Pilot, Manipulation

Health 13/13

Credits: 7
Supply: 3
Gear: Slug-thrower (light 1d6)

Veya has been drifting since she was a kid. Somewhere the void she learned how to pilot, and how to cut deals. She's loud, brash and dangerously reckless.

Living life in the grey areas of the law has treated her pretty well, but she's has been pretty fast and loose with her dealings, leaving bad partners and angry clients in her engine wash.

That's the benefit of the wandering life. You always get to leave your problems behind, you right?
