So I will go first.

I will not have a character on the ship but I have posted a basic character sheet form, I am curious if you can see it. but if not I will post it at the end of this.

I am in GMT +3 ( I live in Vilnius) and I have an office job, so basically I can post every weekday. and some week ends. So, I will keep pace with us all. And depending on everyone elses posting schedule I will set either a 48 hour cycle or a 76 hour cycle, pinned to GMT+3.

My name is Jeremy, I am an Australian who worked around the world for ten years and then settled in Vilnius, Lithuania, Married, got a dog, and I work vaguely in quality analytics for a big drug pusher. I love stories, I love making stuff with people. And I am excited to try this with you.

I have played PbP once. and not for long. I have never played anything outside the DnD / OSR school of thought, and nothing in Sci Fi. Again, I am excited to try.

Thanks!!!

Hi. I once was a mechanical and then nuclear engineer. I spent a few years assigned to a fast attack submarine and spent 60-70% of that time at sea. I have lived in New England for decades. First small town and now small city. My favorite food is blue shell crab steamed in beer with old bay seasoning and corn on the cob. My family has kids, cats, a dog, and a bunny. I practice as an attorney.

I first played 2e in 1990 but had played tunnels and trolls before that. I have been into play by post since 2007. I like play by post with simple rules like the ones for this game. I think I would like simple rules in person too, but it has been a very long time since I played in person.

My character, Li, is a 2-rated PK with military psychic training. He also is trained in network infiltration and information extraction. His unit was right sized when the military realized that their soft skill psychics were more effective for getting information. He has a small and unpredictable pension payment. It's unpredictable because he's always on the move and it can take time to accomplish interplanetary bank transfers. Somewhere the money must be slowly accumulating? Li just wants thrills. He's not very disciplined.

Hi all! I am really looking forward to this game.

I work full time, but it's an office job, so pretty much the same deal as you, @CaptSammich.

I'm in Australia which is currently GMT+10 without Daylight Savings. A bit of an odd timezone, which probably just means that I will be posting during weird times for most of you.

Ive being roleplaying since the early 80s (Yes, I'm that old), and I've played and GM'd a lot of Pbta. I'm happy to answer questions, but I'm not going to vounteer advice as that can be really annoying. I'm really just happy to play with whatever hijinks that we want to get up to.

Character creation for Offworlders is really easy, but I'd prefer to know what style and feel of game we are going for. See my question in the Testing and setting thread.

Hi, everyone! I'm newly self-employed (writing and program management) and am working more hours than I used to while I figure all of it out. Currently have a steady monthly retainer at least until the end of the year so am very thankful.

I'm in the eastern time zone in the US. Open to 3 or 4 posts a week but I'm not really sure as it's been ages since I was in a pbp. It might turn out I want to do more.

I played my first rpg about 5 years ago. All my games have been online. I started with D&D5e but haven't played that in a while. My games are Pathfinder (1e and 2e) and Starfinder right now. I did some pbp around the same time but life got in the way and only just dusted off my accounts this past week.

Still reading the pdf, but I'm leaning heavily toward the Outlaw class, with agility and willpower being my best skills. I'll spend some time this weekend thinking through some ideas.

Excellent!!! Thanks everyone. Great to meet you all. So we have a solid amount of timezones so that will keep us moving, and it seems we are all able to post regularly so I think we aim at a 48 hour turn around unless some would prefer not. But we can play it by ear. After easter feast I will write up a bunch of stuff and hope to get us going. Already loving the vibes of this crew with tones of life experience and gaming experience. Hope to draw on all of that as we go. Enjoy the eggs or chocolate or whatever you do for this weekend (I will head to grandmas for lithuanian egg and salads mmm best)
