Rolling to see what kind of character I'll play

So

Sun Elf of the High Forest:
Heritage traits:
Elven Mage: You gain the Spell Reader trait (from the general trait list, below).
Elegant Defense: Your grace in battle is unmatched. When wielding a light melee weapon, you receive Advantage on your Defense rolls.

Sage:
Trait: Advantage on Tests related to lore, analysis, and problem-solving.

Still working on concept, but I was thinking of a sage related to the Temple Beyond Time from the High Forest.
Not yet sure how to incorporate in the Waterdeep city though. I'll read through the adventure hook later tonight or tomorrow.

If you have any hint or tips, I'm open to suggestions.

Maybe the elf's study of the Temple Beyond Time has led to a fascination with planar and temporal anomalies, and Waterdeep—especially with Blackstaff Tower and the Watchful Order—offers greater access to such knowledge.

It will be a long term goal, probably, cause it's not that easy to have access to those factions and libraries.

Nice I'll read about those faction.
I don't mind it beeing a long term goal. As long as it provides a reason to be in Waterdeep and do some adventuring

@GeneralET, do you have an estimate for finishing the character generation? Depending on your answer, I'll join you in the next group and continue with the Worms beneath the roots adventure, ok?

We can retcon the story. I just posted a single message without your PC, but it's easy to catch up if you want. Let me give you permission for the Worms forum so you can read what happened =)

Sounds good. I completed some of the mechanics and useful information. The thing we need more information about is your divine blessing. Please, further describe which God grants you their powers/blessing, why and how that affects your character. Is it Mystra? Someone else? Are you pious and/or part of the clergy?

Elestar is a follower of Labelas Enoreth an elven deity associated to time and knowledge.
As a follower of Labelas, he aims to gather knowledge about the history of the world and share it to those who would listen.
How time affects it and how history has a tendency to reapeat itself.
