Quick update: I've been swamped with work lately, so sorry I haven't been moving things along. This weekend I will do so; I also have plans to sideline Nik's character in the near future. We can discuss after the current engagement what you want to do going forward as a team.

Got some real adventuring to do coming up.

This weekend I am leading a group of veterans up Kokomo Pass at Camp Hale where the 10th Mountain Division trained to fight in the Alps during WWII. I'll be out of service from Friday afternoon until Monday morning.

I also might have to go lead a group of veterans and the Secretary of Interior in the Organ Mountain Desert Peaks in New Mexico next week around Independence Day. If that trip kicks off I'll let y'all know, just waiting for the DOI to give word and they do crap at the last minute due to security reasons.

Okay, I'm out for a few days. Feel free to advance this along. I will pretend I am a laborer. I have deception, so GM can make any rolls needed by me. Also Bo is happy to try hacking anything the team wants. Talk to you all in a few days.

Tsavo is gone until the end of the month, on a trip, so let's have Savi fly the ship. Ready to proceed when all of you are!

I'm back from the wilderness, but headed to DC tomorrow until Wednesday. Friday I am going to Druids and Dragons, an outdoor camping convention here in Colorado with Robert Adducci. I will post when I can tho. I go on vacation Aug 2-14, but will still post periodically.

Yup. I've neglected it for a while as we were in-action for quite some time. Think of it as reward for sticking with it as much as accomplishing objectives. :)

I do have some questions I'll be posting at some point in the next couple of days that may help with character development. I'll also be asking for feedback.

Well I was originally thinking to go Cybertech but given the role Doc seems to be filling in the group at the mo I’m really tempted to go down the Politico route as we could probably do with a bit more of a face type character...will have a think and see what comes out from the questions :)

1. What have you enjoyed most so far?
Bit of a difficult one this as I’ve thoroughly enjoyed everything so far. I’d probably say the warehouse ‘raid’ given how tense things were with the countdowns and the looming threat of the real ISB turning up coupled with the fact that we were really well motivated not to let things devolve into a straight up firefight.

2. What would you like to see more of?
Again, really enjoying everything so far so there’s nothing I’m feeling particularly lacking

3. Who or what would your character most like to find?
Given the fact that they’re pics are all over the local holonet Doc’s probably going to be quite keen of getting out of this sector and possibly picking up a set of false credentials that have a ‘paper’ trail showing he was in a different part of the galaxy when all this went down.

4. Who or what does your character aspire to become?
Doc wants a senior position in some sort of government or similar entity, something with a sufficient authority to grant him the respect he feels is his due (rightly or wrongly)

5. What would your character consider to be the most important thing in life?
To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women!!! ;-) (actually probably best just to see above for Doc! Lol)

1. What have you enjoyed most so far? I think there have been a good mix of combat, skill use, and RP. I loved sneaking into the complex to dataspike the imperial station.

2. What would you like to see more of? I wanna see more obligations get fleshed out so we can see the character subplots develop.

3. Who or what would your character most like to find? Bo would love to find a black ops code breaker or some cool infiltration gear, maybe a deflector shield ;)


4. Who or what does your character aspire to become? Bo wants to ensure her homeworld is secure and safe and corruption is wiped out


5. What would your character consider to be the most important thing in life? Family. Bo wants to find out what happened to her force using brother and father.

Being allowed to join in and being awarded bonus XP. ;)

2. What would you like to see more of?
Don’t feel like I have much to say about this one.

3. Who or what would your character most like to find?
I think he’s not sure what he wants to find. He definitely doesn’t want to be found! But a new life is probably a driving factor right now.

4. Who or what does your character aspire to become?
I feel like he’s trying to figure that out. He’s been a pawn for some of his life, but now that he’s out on his own, I can see him wanting to explore that independence, away from those that had alternate plans for him. Maybe with a smaller group, where he can help call the shots.

5. What would your character consider to be the most important thing in life?
Right now, it would be freedom. It would be to not go back to the underworld regimen. Making a life for himself and figuring out how to live outside the Syndicate is constantly on his mind.

Just as a heads up, I'm going to be really busy over the next week and a half, or so, doing teacher certification. Sorry for the inconvenience. Feel free to auto-pilot Jack, as needed, in the meantime. I'll also happily do the questions as soon as I have a moment!

Hey guys. I am afraid I am gonna have to back out of the game. Stuff has gotten a bit crazy lately, I am preparing to potentially move across the world in the coming months for Med School. Thanks for the adventure so far. Sorry I was so spotty. I probably should have not come back at all. Mari thanks for reaching out. 1. I typically really enjoy rapid-fire resource taxation, always feeling on my back foot and scrambling to come up with a way to deal with the latest threat. Also really enjoy complexity in characters and the interactions between characters, and feel that this should drive the story at least as much as whatever the GM springs on the party (these may sound very familiar to Metagamegate!). Also as we’ve discussed I’m a huge fan of Campaign, where they rarely make the best decisions tactically speaking. Very refreshing.

2. No comment yet, really.

3. Gav would most like to find a peaceful home free if Imperial reign. Good luck, buddy.

4. As an ex-imperial pilot, he’s already gone through one metamorphosis of becoming something he aspired to. Now he’d like to become legitimate, maybe even stop running somehow.

5. Choice, freedom, agency--whatever you call it--is most important. He believes in Droids Rights. He believes people have the freedom to make bad decisions, to fail. He believes he feels most free at the helm of a starship, and that’s where he’s usually sitting.

I forgot to answer this a month ago. I wasn't sure about it. Not positive what Bo thinks about it. She is somewhere between thinking she lost her marbles and abandoning everything to go look for them. Her current crew is keeping her stable and on track. More nudges and she might try to get back to Bespin fast.

Welcome back! Let's get this rolling again...

Ironically, the next post in this thread is going to be me stating the obvious: this story is on pause, and will remain so for a while. I've got my hands full with life and keeping up with my other games (poorly), so I'm going to put this on the backburner for the next 6 months while my puppy grows up. I will likely come back to it again when I have more time and energy, and will re-invite all of you should you wish to leave to keep your list clean. Thanks to everyone who participated, and hope we get to game in this universe again soon!
