It will help me a lot to have "department heads" who can make decisions and then declare what for sure is being done. For instance, there's been talk of looking for passengers and though it seems relatively certain that you're headed to Jokotre, that has not been formalized with the filing of a jump-plan with the Port Captain. So until that is accomplished no passengers are going to sign up.Please recall that any given character can only dedicate themselves to a limited number of tasks. I feel like we've gotten way ahead of ourselves! I mean, I'm glad that we're eager to get going, but it would help if we had assignments formalized.

Assign Quarters.
Decide on Department Heads, (perhaps) elect a Captain?
Assign primary and secondary jobs
Formalize shares or salary/other compensation arrangements.
It is assumed that new characters have done the formalities; signed the ship's log and had their biometrics recorded to assure access to ship and crew areas. Crew will also be recorded by the Port Captain (or their representative) when they inspect and sign off on the log. (There is both a physical and digital log-book!)

Honestly, things are pretty chaotic for me and clearly for some of the new players as well. Its hard to follow what is going on over several threads. This particular thread should be limited to administrative details like assigning crew quarters, determining a ship's command-hierarchy and job assignments.
