I've been fiddling around on my test game with forums and test forums and wondering if anyone can point me to a guide that explains what they are for and how to use them.

At the moment, I know I can create and manipulate sub-forums, which suggests that they are probably for more useful for game management rather than Session Logs. But I'm not sure if that's right. I don't seem able to act as admin on the maingame forums though.

How you use subforums is entirely up to you, there is no site usage policy that indicates how you must use them.

Part of subforum management comes through the Admin Control Panel, which is a complicated beast, but a couple years ago I did make a video to give you an overview.

I was just fiddling around in my Test Game and experimenting with Sub-Forums just to see what they could do and discovered to my surprise that, unlike normal threads which just get listed in the order they are created, sub-forums can be both 'nested' and changed in order of appearance.

So, not only is it possible to create a structure of sub-forums such as a the Campaign wiki shown above, but perhaps more importantly the UP and DOWN arrow keys allow the order that those sub-forums appear in the list to be changed.

So, if I want to move 'The Facts Of Life' to the topof the list of articles in the Campaign Wiki then I can simply move it up the list.

Sub-Forums also appear separated from the main game forums which means that important adminstrative and management threads are not going to get buried in the mass of Session Logs and other threads created during play. Which was something that was worrying me as there is no inherent division between Roleplay Threads and Management Threads in the game structure as there was in Tavern Keeper.
