Re: 2. Commentary for each post
This can probably be handled by creating threads in a dedicated subforum and linking it to the post of interest.
I tried using snippets to streamline the process, but it's still probably too much of a hassle (3 steps). Although, this issue seems to be the number one thing that the new TK refugees miss from their previous home, so maybe it is worth it for them. But it would be much nicer if it was only one click.
Thought I'd post the idea here to see what people think. Basically, I created a custom sheet with instructions (Commentary Utility) @Adam do you mind making that an integrated player sheet so people can try it out (Co-GMs don't have permission to adjust the game details unfortunately).
It does 3 things. Generates a link to the post of interest, creates a thread for discussion, and generates a link to the discussion thread.
It also has a special feature: If the "Tab" of the sheet is opened (under the quick reply box) then it adds an option to embed the commentary into the post, which is as close as I could get to what is described by the TK refugees.

If you open the "Commentary Utility" Player Sheet Tab:
A new link appears "Embed Commentary Thread HERE"
If you click the link, the Commentary Thread is embedded for viewing in the post of interest:
If you have any ideas about how to improve or streamline it further let me know, but it might be the sort of thing that only really works by adding to the site code, which might be beyond my skill at the moment.
