Skurvyninja character generation

Nov 4, 2016 1:46 am
Ok first up is characteristics.

Strength
Dexterity
Endurance
Intelligence
Influence

Education (default 10)
Social Standing (default 10)

Choose two, one physical characteristic from Strength/Dexterity/Endurance and one from Intelligence and Influence and roll 1d6+6
For the others roll 2d6
Education and Social standing for a Judge are automatically 10 so no need to roll for that.

Thanks for this! Save me going through step by step.

Contact in Cursed Earth

Mouse - a mutant with incredibly small furry hands and fingers. Though perceived as having the mind of a five year old, but he is in fact a genius mechanic and combined with his dexterous hands, he can fix anything. He has his own run down shack in the Wastes where locals visit him for repairs. During your Hot Dog run you defended him from a couple of Muties attacking his shop and he swears he'll be your friend forever and ever.

Judge Berns is a gruff, intimidating figure. His demand for control and discipline is strong and guides him daily. He's achieved a knack for reading people, whether it's a guilty looking crook or the growing mob. Some would say this is because of his constant paranoia. His thought his Hot Dog Run was just another physical challenge that he'd conquer easily. Even though he did come through without failing, it opened his eyes to what Law and Order really means. It's not just about judging and sentencing criminals. It's also about protecting victims like his new found 'friend' Mouse. During his Hot Dog Run, Berns learned that enforcing the Law thru intimidation can work just as well as his Lawgiver, but it doesn't hurt to be prepared for when the crowd gets ugly.

Mouse fixed Berns' gear when he was stranded in the Cursed Earth and Berns couldn't find anything to charge Mouse with other than having bad genes. He figured it couldn't hurt have at least one safe place to go to in the Wastelands so he showed Mouse as much kindness as any Judge could, he left without hurting him.

Do you envision Berns as an older more experienced judge?
Nov 9, 2016 10:48 am
I don't think of Berns as an older Judge, but his unique insight into reading others emotions and intentions often makes him seem more experienced than he really is. Berns is quick to learn from his situations and not hold onto preconceived notions.
Nov 10, 2016 12:04 am
Ok that's fine. I wanted everyone to be new judges on the streets, but would have been open to a more experienced judge leading, but I'm happy you're all at the same level.
