Quick questions/comment about the Souls rules --
-- hollowing reduces your maximum hit points, can these be restored in ways other than consuming humanity? (there are abilities that allow you to restore your max hit points).
-- since Estus and Bonfire healing replace hit die, what happens to class powers that interact with hit dice? I'm thinking of the Fighter's Second Wind, as an example.
-- lethality is thematic, but I'm concerned it might create a thoroughly grindy experience. In Dark Souls you have reaction timing and reading enemies as advantages to overcome punishing lethality, but in D&D you have dice rolls and... dice rolls. Without some way to get the edge on foes you are repeatedly throwing your face into, your lowering hit points and their increased damage all but guarantee you'll become mathematically unable to defeat them.
