I've put together a scenario for Call of Cthulhu, and I'd like to have as many of you participate as possible.

You'll start the game as inhabitants of a rustic, remote fishing village in the Hebrides, during the 1800's. Any type of characters could feasibly be "passing through" the village, but recommended character types would be labourers and fishermen, rather than academics and dilettantes. This will be a mystery-focused scenario, so to say much more would give away too many details, but I'm drawing inspiration from the famous Eilean Mor Lighthouse Disappearances.

If you want to play, put your name below, and we'll sort who's playing.

I'm interested! I've never played CoC before but consider myself a pretty quick learner.

That's alright, do you know how to make a character?

interesting premise - I am a long-time CoC player and GM, always up for some good ol' SAN loss

Hi Diogenes, I am interested in this. I've played lots of the CoC versions since the 1980's, and have played quite a few games (including CoC) on GP since covid. I can post regularly, and am familiar with the rules.

I do - what version of CoC is this specifically?

I'd be interested! I'm very rarely a player but am a forever keeper of 7e CoC and would love to give this a shot.

Good to hear back from you all, I've sent you all invites. Feel free to make your characters independently, and send them through when you're ready to go.

Thanks. If you allow custom character sheets in the game settings, I can share a much more advanced sheet we use for CoC7 than the default Gamersplane CoC sheet, with built-in bonus and penalty dice, autoroller, etc.

I'm not a fan of getting too complicated with online character sheets and so on, I like using the most minimalist version available.
In fact, if any of you wanted to do your character up on paper and send a picture in, I'd be open to that as well.
I am a very low-tech referee, regardless of whether I'm playing CoC, D&D, Classic Traveller, or any other system.
