CASPR: Tier III[ +- ] Sol Republic Spacey: Tier III
The Sol Republic Spacey is the aerospace division of CASPR's armed forces. The majority of the fleet is made up a trade vessels and their escorts as they move materials through the Sol Planetary Republic. In response to the Invasion, however, they've been drawn back into a defensive picket around Earth while the orbital shipyards are refitting many of those trade vessels into additional gunboats or CASE dropships.
[ +- ] Jormungandr: Tier II
"The Serpent That Encircles The World", Jormungandr is a special intelligence group employed by CASPR. Originally formed to support the Regulators, they were frustrated by interdepartmental politics and assembled their own CASE company. Broken into three squads: Wolf, Raven, and Serpent, this Crew often undertakes the tasks that CASPR doesn't want to officially condone.
[ +- ] New Ithaca: Tier II
New Ithaca is an O'Niel Cylinder space colony in orbit around Earth. Directly sponsored by CASPR, they're known for having the most extensive star charts in the Republic and have been instrumental to planning humanity's first extrasolar mission. Due to their proximity to the Lunar Cradle, they've taken the lead on the developement of the Astevallian Spacefold Engine.
[ +- ] White Cross: Tier I
The White Cross is a humanitarian organization founded in response to the Resource Wars. They've been boldly entering warzones to provide food, medicine, and dignity to desperate people for decades. The Martian front is the largest undertaking they've ever dared, but they remain resolute in their mission.
[ +- ] Regulators: Tier I
The Regulators are CASPR's first CASE division. The subject of many dramas, the image of them dropping into the warzones of terra in their advanced CASE and bringing a swift end to armed conflict is what many Republic citizens think of first when they imagine a CASE. In truth, as CASPR's dominance became more accepted and softer forms of control became the norm, the Regulators' technological edge has grown dull. Doctrinally, they're better suited to police actions than open war, and are stumbling in their response to ARES's initial moves. That said, they shouldn't be underestimated.
[ +- ] Sol Defense Force: Tier I
While the Regulators represent CASPR's elites, the SDF are the true keepers of CASPR's order. Not every nation of Earth has folded in with CASPR, even if they benefitted from the terraforming efforts, and so the Sol Planetary Republic has had to maintain a standing army to protect their assets and citizens from their rivals. The tech is old, and the job is thankless, but the soldiers have their pride and for many it's a gateway to a brighter future ... assuming they survive.

ARES: Tier III[ +- ] Iron Collar: Tier III
The Iron Collar refers to single CASE & SOUL. A young, ethereal man born and raised on the Lunar Cradle, loaded with augments including a prominent collar around his neck, he stole a towering CASE that was being studied and fled into the Earth's gravity well. That one unit is a strategic weapon, powered by a miniature black hole and capable of wielding incredible gravity-based weaponry, the Iron Collar could make a fair showing against the entire Solar Republic Spacey. Since ARES lacks the capability to repair it, however, they must deploy it with care.
[ +- ] Aggressors: Tier II
A group of veteran SOULs, the Aggressors were once an elite squad operating at the behest of CASPR. Made up of a mix of Regulators, dispossessed warlords, and reformed pirates, the Aggressors once worked as mentors for young CASE pilots as they tried to develope tactics for the new era of warfare the Republic was entering. In response to the Invasion, however, they broke with CASPR, and pulled on their connections to establish and lead ARES.
[ +- ] Cygnus Group: Tier II
CASPR has been interested in pushing humanity's dominion beyond the light of our star since its inception. The Cygnus Group was a collection of multiple companies with aerospace interests that banded together to streamline their logistics train. The Jovian Colonies were a major investment of theirs, originally envisioned as a major fuel depot and launching point for extrasolar missions. Their support of ARES is based primarily on resentment of CASPR diverting funding from them to New Ithaca, and CASPR trying to take possession of the shipyards and space craft they still have near Earth.
[ +- ] Cerberus: Tier I
Even in the era of the Sol Planetary Republic, there were many legacy mercenary groups whose legacy stretched back to the Resource Wars. The invention of the CASE allowed small, independent crews to have outsized impact with relatively low overhead. To assault the seat of CASPR's power, however, a larger force was needed. ARES reached out to contacts they had with three mercenary groups (House of Chains, Steel Syndicate, and Hell's Flock) to provide leadership and logistics for the freshly minted SOULs.
[ +- ] Balan Industries: Tier I
During the Resource Wars, Balan Industries was one of the megacorporations that built subterrainean arcologies that were intended to house those who couldn't flee to orbital stations. Resentful of CASPR for breaking their incredibly exploitative citizenship contracts, they were eager to supply ARES with mass produced CASE for their offensive.
[ +- ] Tindalos: Tier I
Tindalos is an anti-CASPR extremist group, founded when the terraforming project overwrote elements of their traditional homeland. From their perspective, the Orbitals who founded CASPR abandoned the Earth, and then recklessly used alien technology on it so that their Sol Planetary Republic would have a bread basket to fuel their expansion. ARES reached out to Tindalos for their long experience in guerilla warfare against CASPR, and Tindalos accepted in exchange for access to CASE.
