This Thread should be strictly limited to "Miss Fortune's" accounting and trades. Most posts should be from me, with players adding corrections or clarifications as needed. If a player wishes to take over the accounting and can do so consistently and accurately please drop me a PM.
BUY IN: The Ship's Accounts were capitalized on a buy-in basis, with 1 share per character 'sold' for 62,000 Imperial Credits each. With 8 characters (one player has dropped out and I will assume a full refund for their character!) that amounts to a trading and operational-expenses fund of 496,000 cr.
MISS FORTUNE can carry 61 dTons of freight and cargo, with 5 dTons potentially hidden in its (former) smuggler's hold.
There are 6 Passenger Staterooms, all single occupancy, for High and Middle passengers. There are 10 "sleep berths" for Low passengers.
(There are 7 crew staterooms, one which is configured for double occupancy for a nominal crew of '8'. A 9th crew member would need to be accomodated in one of the passenger staterooms)

Normal Expenses:
Monthly: Mortgage payment of 183,334 credits. Payable on the 15th of each month EXCEPT the 13th month (Sol-Vilis). There are 30 years remaining on the mortgage, thus 360 payments to go!
Monthly (optional): Usually an account is funded in order that yearly maintenance can be paid for. This would amount to 4400cr monthly, or 57,200 total. No 'free' 13th month here!
Per Jump: Life-Support and Supplies (2,000cr per stateroom, 100cr per sleep berth), 27,000cr
Per Jump/port-of-call: Standard wharfage/docking fee of 100cr for 7-days maximum. 100cr/day thereafter.
(added) Per Jump/ FUEL. You will normally purchase unrefined fuel and refine it with the onboard system. Takes 2 to 3 days! 100cr per ton of fuel, usually needing to purchase 44dtons (4,400cr). In-system travel may result in slightly higher fuel costs.
CREW SALARIES are not usually paid in a 'shares basis' ship, though allotments for personal expenses are generally made monthly or 'as-needed'.
---note: work in progress, more coming soon!---
