A
Fairy would give you 2 Traits (in total) instead of the regular 4:
-
Fairy (Heritage): You look like a small elf with insectile wings. Because of your wings, you can fly. You can’t use this flying speed if you’re wearing medium or heavy armor.
-
Whispers of the Wild (Background, special: loses the initial free trait): Those attuned to the spirits of nature possess the subtle ability to influence the world around them in small but meaningful ways. A nature-bound character with this Trait might coax a flower to bloom, urge a leaf to unfurl, or cause a seed pod to open with a mere gesture. They can also predict the weather, light or snuff out a candle, a torch, or a small campfire and even produce harmless sensory phenomena—falling leaves, the rustle of branches, the distant chirp of a bird, or even a faint, earthy scent—all confined to a small area around them.
To use this ability, describe in detail what you are trying to do and perform a standard 2d6 Test. If you are attempting to manipulate an object, you must have direct line of sight. You may also unleash a simple Ranged attack, such as a crackling bolt of lightning. This is treated like any other Ranged attack in Combat, requiring two Actions, one to prepare and one to fire, and a successful 2d6 Test.
