| ♦ | Gevin learns that red eyed creatures have been causing random and vicious attacks on villagers. |
| ♦ | He is asked to find out what is going on and if possible deal with it. |
| ♦ | He swears a vow and sets out to find the source and meets Etta on the way there. |
| ♦ | Etta decides to join Gevin on his quest and joins the vow. |
| ♦ | They find out that there is a camp beyond their borderd where broken with red eyes are guarding a backpack. |
| ♦ | Eventually they find a woman wielding a staff with a red gem. This woman is the cause of the red eyed creatures. |
| ♦ | After a dangrous fight, they manage to overpower the woman and take her prisoner. |
| ♦ | The woman, Reina, tells them about 'The Vestige'. The red gem that has such power. |
| ♦ | The battle leaves both Etta and Gevin influenced by the Vestige's power. |
| ♦ | After vowing that she will not execute her original plan, Etta lets her go free on condition that she goes far away. |
