System: Prowlers & Paragons
Players Needed: 2–6
Post Rate: Minimum 5 posts/week (Note: Fridays–Sundays are usually slower)
Genre: Sci-Fi Space Opera
Tone: Gritty + Adventurous (Inspired by Star Wars, Star Trek, Guardians of the Galaxy, Firefly)
Game Type: Play-by-Post
💥 Premise:
You and your crew call a rusted-out junker spaceship home. It’s a miracle it even flies. But it does, and it gets you from one sketchy job to the next: salvage runs, smuggling gigs, bounty hunts, courier work, maybe the occasional black ops job for a shady corp.
You’ll start with a junker-class ship with a few upgrade points to spend. The ship’s design and details are up to you as a group.
I will form the campaign based on your characters wants, needs, and backstory.
🧬 Character Options:
Be a humanoid or a totally bizarre alien—whatever you dream up.
Backgrounds can include mercenaries, assassins, mechanics, scavengers, spies, smugglers, ex-lawmen, drifters, or outlaws.
Party tone and direction are collaborative—this is your crew’s story.
🌍 About the Galaxy:
The galaxy will be randomly generated as you explore it.
Planet types, societies, species, and missions will emerge dynamically.
Travel times between planets are rolled. Longer distances (between solar systems) require access to ancient Warp Points—massive interstellar wormholes that crisscross the galaxy.
📣 About the DM:
Hey! I’ve played in a few Prowlers & Paragons games, but this will be my first time as a GM for one. I'm excited, a little nervous, and 100% here to tell a fun story with you. I ask for your patience and kindness as we learn the system together.
I’ll be using AI tools to help with the campaign—everything from describing planets and aliens to generating random missions and planning encounters. Expect a dynamic, living universe that shifts around your actions.
As a GM, my goal is to challenge the party. Not every fight is meant to be won—sometimes, the smart move is to run. Missions will have multiple ways to succeed or fail, and consequences will matter. Yes, death is possible, but we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.
✨ Looking For:
2–6 collaborative, story-driven players
Able to post at least 5 times a week
Comfortable with sandbox play, exploration, and emergent storytelling
Open-minded and supportive of a first-time GM
If interested, post a simple character idea!
