Weapons:
PPC = Particle Projector Cannon - A high powered, long range energy weapon
LRM = Long Range Missiles
SRM = Short Range Missiles
MMS = Multi Missile System - A missile system that can fire both SRMs and LRMs
AC/* = Autocannon - The number follow the / is the caliber of the round (the number = the amount of damage dealt)

NARC = NARC Missile Beacon - Allows LRMs and SRMs greater homing capability
Artemis IV Fire Control System - a guidance system that utilizes an infrared laser designator and tight-beam microwave transmitter which improves the accuracy of LRMs, SRMs, and MMLs by roughly thirty-five percent.


Spaceflight:
K-F Drive = Kearny-Fuchida Drive = The creation of the Kearny-Fuchida Drive was the only reason that extensive colonization of the Inner Sphere took place. Without it, there would not have been any BattleTech universe. It allows for hyperspace travel

Jump Sail = Created from a high strength polymer, a Jump Sail is coated in an extremely efficient photochemical that absorbs visible light, infrared, ultraviolet, and microwave radiation. This radiation is converted into electrical power and fed into the KF drive.

Docking Collar = Allows dropships to hitch a ride on jumpships and warships for hyperspace travel
Jumpship = Any large civilian vessel carrying a K-F Drive
Warship = Any military vessel armored and heavily armed that also carries a K-F Drive
HPG = Hyper-Pulse Generator = Allows for faster than light communication
