so thats 1-10 2-16 3- 10 4-12 5-10 6- 13 7- 12 8-18 replacing the first with the spare roll

So before people get to far into their character creations I do allow PHB SCA Voló and UA.
Quick insight on this world and the reason for sanity points. Monsters are common but only the Huminoid and Beast type everything else is very rare and thought to have gone instinct. Things such as the undead are not heard of in this work as they haven't been around for milenia. I would describe it as a somewhat low fantasy setting. Magic is everywhere but it it used for most mundane things and not for fighting evil and what not.

No just once then if that roll is higher than any of your rolls you drop the lowest roll and replace it with your new roll

You roll a total of 8 times there will be 7 stats instead of six. The 7th stat is Sanity. I am just being nice and giving you an additional roll just to give you all a better spread of numbers

Oh, DM, two questions - do you allow human variant? And for leveling up will we be doing ability score improvement only or will we be able to take feats instead? Just thinking ahead...if you dont kill me ;)

And are there any homebrew languages that might be useful in this adventure?

Also we are doing the stats like in the phb ie roll 4d6 pick 3 of those rolls add them together and thats your stat correct?
