So before people get to far into their character creations I do allow PHB SCA Voló and UA.
Quick insight on this world and the reason for sanity points. Monsters are common but only the Huminoid and Beast type everything else is very rare and thought to have gone instinct. Things such as the undead are not heard of in this work as they haven't been around for milenia. I would describe it as a somewhat low fantasy setting. Magic is everywhere but it it used for most mundane things and not for fighting evil and what not.

No just once then if that roll is higher than any of your rolls you drop the lowest roll and replace it with your new roll

You roll a total of 8 times there will be 7 stats instead of six. The 7th stat is Sanity. I am just being nice and giving you an additional roll just to give you all a better spread of numbers

Oh, DM, two questions - do you allow human variant? And for leveling up will we be doing ability score improvement only or will we be able to take feats instead? Just thinking ahead...if you dont kill me ;)

And are there any homebrew languages that might be useful in this adventure?

I'll be able to make a character after work today, glad to be here!

Stats are [14, 15, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15]. I think I'll go with a weirdo wizard type character, like someone from the local area who is superstitious as hell. I've never done a monk, so I'm gonna make a kicky-person who has some spiritual reason for wanting to delve into the pyramids.

Glad to have you. Just a heads up some of the spells for wizards may be off limits just to allow for the world to exist. The only ones that come to mind are anything that has to do with raising the dead or making basically necromancy almost everything else is on the table. But I'll let you know if I see anything that doesn't fit into the setting.

Submitted my character. I'm gonna go with the Kensei Monk from the 'Unearthed Arcana' series. I always wanted to play as an archer/monk ever since I played as the elf in Dragon's Crown! :P

@DrekRok - Yeah. Drop the lowest die and the lowest combined roll, so you should have 7 stats at the end.

You can drop yourself right in as if you have been with the party the whole time. Same goes for everyone else that has joined.

Paelias is a Druid and the only one with magic at the moment. Marcus is a fighter.
