The Vhast an alien threat that tried to invade and take over. The Vhast are a scavenging race that despoils worlds before moving on to find other worlds. Numerous and use high tech weapons. The Vhast appear like small chubby red skinned people with light scales and patches of scales on various parts of the body.

Backstory
When did you first put on the mask? Why?
2 years ago, shortly after my parents died. My life was falling apart. I didn't know who I was. So, I became someone else. It gave me comfort. I can't explain it.
Why do you keep a secret identity?
My family, my school... those are things that bring me back to reality. But my secret identity makes it possible for me to keep it all together. I can't give up one for the other. They are the two parts of me that make me, well, me. Yin and yang.
Who, outside the team, knows about your dual identity?
I think my boyfriend Xavier knows, but we don't talk about it. He's been with me since before the accident. Before my parents... I don't know why he's still with me to be honest. I'm not the same person I was before.
Who thinks the worst of your masked identity?
My uncle. He doesn't know it's me but he always makes a comment when there's a blurb in the news. I don't really care about his opinion though. He's always high on something (although he hides it well). I just hope he doesn't taint my little brother into hating my alter ego. I'm not sure I could take it.
Why do you care about the team?
I feel like a part of me belongs with them. So, in a way, they are my adopted family.

When our team first came together...
We saved the life of someone important, either to the city or to us. Who was it? Why are they important?

-When did you first use your powers?
I woke up from a weird dream. Don't really remember the dream anymore, but I remember all the random junk in my room was kind of floating and spinning around me. Then it was like a shockwave and everything crashed into walls. Plastered my room with posters to hide the cracks. Praying my parents don't find them.

-Who was the first person you accidentally hurt with your powers?
My little sister, Sammy. I swear it was an accident! But I was mad at her about some stupid, unimportant thing. And then I told her to get lost and...and she did. Just..just poof. Just like that. She was gone. I haven't told anybody yet. My parents, everyone, they all just think she ran away from home. She's done it before, but was always back the next day. She hasn't come back yet.

-Who, outside the team, helps you control your powers?
My friend Maggie. She's good at talking me down, and we've checked out her mom's self-help books too. Y'know, all that stuff about focusing on your goals and visualizing and stuff like that. It seems to help.

-Why do you continue to use your powers?
For Sammy. I don't know where she went or if she's...I mean, there's no way she's just dead. I'd know that, right? But if I can figure out how to work these things and get them to do what I want? Maybe I can bring her back. Just undo whatever I did.

-Why do you care about the team?
It's kind of freeing knowing that I can hang out around these people and not have to hide everything I am. And they don't look at me like I might explode at any moment.

When our team first came together...
We destroyed our surroundings in the fight. Where was it? What did we destroy?
It was an amusement park down on the water. Y'know, The Pier. It wasn't super busy that day, thank god. But it's shut down for the season now, and I dunno if they're gonna bother reopening. I hear the Ferris Wheel is still in the water.

How did you gain your skills?
Living with my grandfather he's been pretty strict about learning the 'way of our clan' and it is something he's pretty strict about, more so than even his Thursday Night Pachinko.

When did you first put on your costume?
I was coming home from club activities in middle school and my grandpa was supposed to be out. Finding someone trying to rob the place and hearing the sounds of a struggle I needed to act... Since my Grandpa said normal people can't know about our clan's techniques and secrets I pulled on some black sweat pants and went fully ninja via several black tshirts. I mostly scared him and Ms. Genosi initially causing her to faint and him to run after she did. Chasing him down kinda felt cool in a creepy way and I was hooked. Grandpa said it was an idiotic thing to do since Tshirt provided no protection and 'panting' someone and hanging them by their ankles did not speak powerful shinobi warrior... it was pretty funny though.

Who, outside of the team, thinks you shouldn't be a superhero?
My grandpa... definitely my grandpa *old man imitation* Idiot! Our ways are to preserve tradition and the heritage of our clan not run around in all black like some creepy underwear thief! *normal voice* Grandpa that sounds more like a ni- *old man imitation* I said underwear thief you little perv!!! He's also worried I'm in over my head and I won't realize it till I'm bleeding out someplace and it's too late... I kind of think it's right. An escalation that quick would make me mess my pants.

Why do you try and be a hero?
BlackStar. He's twenty now but around my age he was an up and coming hero. While we're somewhat different we're also the same (kinda short). (It's also a pretty good confidence booster)

Why do you care about the team?
Well there's superheroes... who doesn't want to have superheros as friends I mean not a lot of bullies pick on people who have friends that can melt their face and lax maturity to debate on actually doing it...

When our team first came together

The Vhast didn't have much in the ways of supplies this implied it was a one way trip... Something seemed to be driving them towards us since they avoided their drop ships after landing like three week old dirty gym socks.

Rigel, a forensic psychologist who uses his telepathy to solve crimes

-How did you first meet your mentor?
In a dark alley…I was beating up a criminal that he had been tracking.

-When and why did you choose to train with them?
I was never able to shut off my telepathy, so the flood of thoughts and feelings from others was overwhelming. I was glad to accept his help.

-Why did they agree to train you?
He had been looking for someone to take on as protégé for some time. He was impressed with my raw power, but not with my lack of control.

-Who else, outside the team, knows about your training?
My parents know what I do. They don’t love it, but they get that I have a responsibility to help others.

-Why do you care about the team?
I know we can do so much more together than we can apart. Besides, I kinda like the weirdos.

When our team first came together...
We stuck together after all was said and done. Why? How'd we keep in contact?
We knew the threat wasn’t over, and that we could count on each other in a fight. We worked well together. We exchanged numbers, and most of us text randomly. We have codes for when shit gets real.

There is one rule in pajama club. Don't talk about pajama club, especially to reporters. What use are secret identities if you give investigators tools to unravel your carefully constructed alteregos? After that first job, down by The Pier amusement park, we were elated, and wanted to shout it to the world. In growing horror, we kept telling too much to Shayla Sung, ace reporter for the Globe Tribune, about the aliens and their drop ships. Now, we try our best to avoid her.

Relationships
You keep trying to impress Omen with your antics. Omen is just the kind of gothic influence Aeon Crow most admires. As such, he is always subconsciously turning up his music when Omen is around, and gets more despondent about lifes problems.
You and Chameleon pulled an awesome (if illegal) stunt together. We're bad influences on each other. We thought that we could get Shayla Sung's notes from her office. Yeah, we did, but in doing so, we set a fire that destroyed evidence the Globe Tribune had been getting on some slum lords. Sure, we got some of our secrets back from the brink, but someone else paid the cost.

-Who is your nemesis? Out in the far reaches of space there exists an entity known as The Cosmic Compiler. I'll just call him The Compiler, most of the time. From what P.I.L.O.T. has told me, The Compiler was once a creature of an ancient race, or maybe he is the ancient race. I'm not really sure. All I know is that he travels the galaxy, finding planets and compiling information about them. He makes a clone of their dominant species to learn about them from their eyes. Once he has enough information he... well, he documents it all for posterity and then wipes them out, starting with the clone. I think he's kind of keeping the universe in check. You can probably guess what I am now, huh?

I've never met the Compiler in person. I always picture him as some hulking monstrosity though. Maybe some... shape that just floats around out there. Would be pretty crazy if he was just some short, scrawny alien, though.

-When did you first learn of your doom? P.I.L.O.T. told me. Showed me the documentation from other races. The clones. Me. P.I.L.O.T. is an A.I. in the ship that the Compiler landed here for my uses. I was maybe eleven when he explained it all to me. I couldn't have understood it at the time. Hell, I barely understand it now.

-Where did you get your sanctuary? The Compiler left it here for my use, in order to better fulfill my intended purpose. I have a pod that I can use to heal myself if I get hurt, and some other stuff. Mostly I go there to talk to P.I.L.O.T. and try to figure out what I can about him and the Compiler and... and, well, me.

-Why do you oppose your nemesis? Why wouldn't I? He's going to kill everyone. Wipe them all out, and... and they probably won't even see it coming. Not until it's too late. Earth doesn't deserve this. And... and I'm human, just like you and everyone else. My DNA is the same, just... altered. I don't understand, though. Is this supposed to happen? I'm trying to act distant, to learn as little about what it means to be human, to be me, so that maybe I can prolong his arrival. Why wouldn't he make me obedient to him, though? Am I defective? Or maybe this is all a part of the process. Maybe by resisting so much I'm showing him what humankind is really like when it's backed into a corner. Am I helping him, even still?

God damn it.

Maybe, somewhere in there, he knows all of the things that past clones have tried to save their kind. That's... assuming they even tried. I might just be broken. But still, I bet P.I.L.O.T. holds the key to saving us. All of us.
-Why does the team matter to you? Because when I'm with them I don't feel like I'm slowly killing everyone else. I feel like I'm helping. I'm saving lives, protecting innocent people, and keeping the bad ones at bay. Even if it won't matter, in the end.

Things were going pretty bad when the fighting started. I don't know about the others, but I didn't know the first thing of fighting as a team. I knew who was friend and who was foe (mostly; Mimic sure threw me for a loop) but a lot of things got screwed up. I think we can all safely say that we wouldn't have made it through the day if it weren't for one of the adult heroes, Sage. He saved our lives when things were at their worst, until we could get our heads together and fight together. As a team. I miss you a lot, Sage. I'm sorry that we couldn't save you, like you saved us.

Konrad, a planet inhabited by the alien species called Konrad. The Konrad are more of a collective than a race of beings. They have no individuality and their form is that of one giant shapeshifting entity. Usually they flow through and around the planet Konrad in a liquid form. They prefer to keep to themselves and remain strictly isolationist.
-Why did you come to Earth?
While exploring the planet Konrad, astronauts took samples of what they assumed to be an alien river. When they returned to Earth and set the samples up in a lab, it took very little time for Konrad to use his shapeshifting abilities to mimic the look of a scientist's son, and escape.
-Why do you want to stay here (for now at least)?
Konrad never experienced what it was like to be an individual person until arriving on Earth. To want, to enjoy, to feel. These are things that make individuals individuals. Konrad loves and is fascinated by it.
-Why do your people want you to come home?
He is a part of the collective that is now missing, however negligible that part might be. On top of that, they are strictly against mixing with other peoples.
-Why do you care about the team?
They make him feel different. And that is wonderful.

We're a pretty mixed bag of misfits, so conflicts are bound to arise. Luckily, we had Void Fist's positive demeanor to fall back on. In no time, we were all laughing and joking around. At least the less angsty ones of us. I try to do my best to join in, but I have still not mastered the foreign concept of humor.

When that goddamn armor chose me. I swear, I was jus' takin' a short cut through this factory when this thing flew on my ass. I mean, weren't nothin' "official" about it, but I didn't get a fuckin' party or nothin'. After that, it seems like just gotta keep fightin' these motherfuckers. Which I ain't too unhappy about, but I do have other shit to do.

Saved the entire city from Mr. Dark and several other villains trying to throw it into destruction and chaos.

Not as fuckin' bad as they should. They all like "Oh, Beacon, you saved my kids." "Oh, Beacon, thank you for saving the city." "Beacon, I love you." (Motherfucker, you betta). But they don't know about this fuckin' armors mind. It's all "justice," "you must do this," "you can't sleep, you have to fight these guys." Fuck that shit, it hurts wearin' this shit, and sometimes I wanna fuckin' sleep. But I ain't s'pose to tell no one about this.
-How does your legacy tie into your reasons for being a hero?
Shit forced me into it. "Reasons for being a hero" my ass, I just wanted to see my boyfriend a little faster, and I got tied into this thing. Those other two don't talk about nothin', but I gotta feeling they the same way.
-Why do you care about the team?
They aiight kids. Some of 'em a little up uptight, but it's better than doin' this shit alone, seems to keep the armor a little quieter. 'Sides, have you seen some of these fuckers I gotta fight? I ain't much for gettin' my ass whupped.

All things considered, we did well and impressed an established hero. Who was it? Not sure on this one, if anyone has a hero to throw in that y'all have already interacted with, that'd be cool. (May be a good idea to skip this one if it hurts continuity)
