Somehow, Arnvik manages to scowl even more deeply when Ulfren talks of dwarves living in trees. "Ain't no kin of mine. We were right to cast 'em out. But we mine the seam that's in front of us, not the ones that might be. Let's crack on."

A little further down the cave and the floor is slick and covered in a black slime like substance.

As they approach the strange floor, he kneels down to inspect the substance, holding his torch above for more light.

Ugh, This is Putrid though not quite the deadly poisons used against us by the Drow. I might have been able to fashion something if I had my tools.
