Where do i start? The OOC forum about Submissions and The Pitch. The Pitch is the best place to start after this Post.
How does this work? The overview is in The Pitch, but essentially you:
1: make a proposal, 2: submit characters, 3: decide on a GM emulation tool(s), 4: start Character journals
How big should I make it? This is a personal choice, but I suggest start with a Protagonist and let it snowball. You can go back edit your proposal as things become more clear (i.e. Add locations and extras, clarify Antagonist, etc.), and you can tweak your characters as you go. You may start system agnostic and then add FATE or PBTA or D20 or whatever.
What does Solo mean? This means that YOU are in control of the bad guys and the good ones, this means you make all the dice rolls, card draws, whatever. You don't wait for someone else to do something, you just keep playing. Shifting the focus from one character to the next at your own pace.
What does Mosaic mean? This refers to POV, the eyes that are being looked through. I prefer a story that is written in First Person perspective, but the person shifts form one to another. This is famously being used by George R.R. Martin in A Song of Fire & Ice, the series that includes GoT. It helps distinctly with writing several characters at once, you keep the perspective focused for each one, but shift from one to another in separate posts. Maybe even separate threads.
