I'm going to put a summary of events here sometime soon!

Chapter One: Burnt Offerings
Day 1
The party attends the Swallowtail Festival in Sandpoint, celebrating the opening of a new chapel to Desna. The festivities are cut short as goblins attack the town. The party is able to do a great deal in fighting off the invading force and they also save a noble from Magnimar by the name of Aldern Foxglove.

You meet Ameiko Kaijitsu and she offers to let you stay free for a week at her inn, the Rusty Dragon.

Day 2
The party is approached by Belor Hemlock, the sheriff of Sandpoint. He states that he'd like your help with a matter down at the old priest's crypt. Heading out there, you find a couple of skeletons guarding the crypt and the body of Tobyn, the previous priest, is missing.

Day 3
You head out to hunt boar with Aldern Foxglove in the Tickwood forest near Sandpoint. He is very flattering and interested in the story of the party members. After you take down the boar, you head back to Sandpoint and enjoy the cooked boar.

Shortly into the celebration, Lonjiku Kaijitsu, Ameiko's father, barges in, insulting your group and Ameiko in equal amounts. He eventually leaves, but not before making Ameiko cry.

Day 4
You are greeted by a messenger when you wake and asked to head straight to the town hall to see the sheriff and mayor. You are introduced to Mayor Kendra Deverin and Shalelu, an elven ranger. You are told that the goblins in the area have been busy and seem to be organizing for something.

You are asked to stay in town while Belor heads south to Magnimar to see about getting additional protection for the town. In the meantime, Shalelu will head out to keep an eye on the goblin threats outside of town. You meet Shalelu at the Rusty Dragon, where she describes the goblin tribes in the area and the leaders of each, if she's aware of them.

Day 5
When you wake in the morning, you are greeted by Bethana, who states that she found a note left for Ameiko from her half-brother Tsuto asking her to meet at the Glassworks. Ameiko left in the middle of the night and never returned. Bethana would like the players to investigate.

When the party arrives, they meet an odd little gnome called Archibald, who is there to stock up on vials and such for his alchemical works. They find the place locked, but break in to find it filled with goblin scum and all of the workers dead. You also find the corpse of Ameiko's father.

Downstairs, you find Tsuto is in charge of this mess and manage to take him down, but only after he nearly kills Urthask. You also find Ameiko locked in a room and severely beaten. It seems that she and Tsuto had some sort of falling out.

You find Tsuto's journal and see notes regarding the attack on Sandpoint from a few days ago. You also see notes about another potential attack of over 200 goblins. It also mentions a ritual performed at Thistletop, home of a tribe of goblins to begin Nualia's transformation into a demon. You are shocked by this, as Nualia supposedly died 5 years ago.

You are able to deduce that there is trouble below the Glassworks and will need to head down to check it out. You begin to do research on quasits and succubi, as they seem to be your most likely foes in this. You discover their weaknesses and purchase cold iron weapons to assist in fighting them.

Day 6
Heading back to the Glassworks, the find a smugglers tunnel which leads into a series of catacombs. They are infested by sinspawn, creatures formed from the twisted emotions of humans. Eventually, the party locates the quasit that was mentioned by Tsuto. The manage to kill it, but she jabs Daire with a poisoned dagger before they bring her down. Archie barely manages to brew an antidote in time and saves his life, sending him back with Arktos to be tended in town.

After killing the creature, they set back to investigating. The find an area with the bones of odd humanoid creatures, probably humans who were the results of horribly experiments. They also find a strange room under the effects of a permanent levitation spell. There is odd lightning flashing around that forms into words (focused mainly on anger, hate, etc.). They also find a book filled with pictures of demons and written in Abyssal. Some of the stuff here is marked with a seven-pointed star symbol, which Archie is sure is somehow linked to the old Thassilonian Empire.

Also of note are two impassable staircases. One led up, the other led down.

With nothing else to explore, the party returns to the mayor to let her know what they've found. She is deeply troubled by events, but very grateful for your help.

Day 7
The next morning, you make some purchases after selling some of the treasure you found below the Glassworks. Urthask commissions a set of scale barding for Arktos, which Hosk will make on credit (160 GP). He assures the half-orc that it will be done in the morning.

The party heads over to the jail to speak with Tsuto before heading out. He doesn't provide any information and spends a lot of time insulting the party.

Heading back to the Glassworks, you find that the last unexplored tunnel is a dead end.

With the threat from the Glassworks eliminated, the party heads to Thistletop to check on the goblin threat there. On the way, they run into Shalelu.
