Knights of the Undaunted Crusade
Established by Ser Claymore Mirilion the Lion-heart during the first shadow conflict 9 years ago. The Knights of the Undaunted Crusade has it's name because their cause is a Crusade to take back their lands, and stand face to face with the shadows without fear. Their motto is "In War, Victory. In Death, Sacrifice. In Peace, Vigilance." Their symbol is that of a Wolf symbolizing the Knights stick together in a pack as they are a family; A sword to symbolize their strength in arms, and Angel Wings to symbolize their divine cause.
Claymore recruited fellow friends into the cause at first, but only took teenagers after the first conflict to raise them into these special warriors. These Paladins undergo intense training all their life, and are constantly evaluated under physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental capabilities. Once they finish their final initiation between the ages of 16-19, they become a full-fledged Knight after taking an Oath, and are evaluated personally by Claymore to be given a symbol that identifies every individual Knight.
The Knights help in every way they can around Tirisfel- they help keep the magic circles supplied, and of course, they help fight against the shadows as it is their cause.
