Hello, here I am :-)

I'm 34 and have been playing off and on for about 14 years.
I am German and I started with the most popular German RPG back then "Das schwarze Auge" in English known as "The Dark Eye" or "Realms of Arcandia" I tried some differet systems including Basic D&D but got stuck on DungeonSlayers, a very rules light and easy to learn oldschool RPG, also from Germany.
I am very curious about Fate though and hope to get first experiences on that here. I am a big fan of the Cthulhu universe but the systems available to play always seemed more like a second choice to me. I'll try that too, if i can.
I am more of an oldschool player and DM in general.
Maybe I'll run some of the all time favourite old D&D Modules in Dungeonslayers.

Welcome chocokiko, and thanks for joining us! I'm glad you've in a new system for me to explore; I'll definitely be looking into that. I hope you enjoy your time time here, and if you ever have any thoughts or suggestions, please let me know! I see you started off busy on the forums, which is great :D

Keleth: Maybe you'd like to join for the introductory adventure in Dungeonslayers :-) I can provide you with a pregen character and will tell you what to roll so you don't have to learn the system before starting :-) The first little adventure will not be very long and then you can decide if you like it :-)

I may take you up on that, though I'm hard pressed as it is with playing in one game and developing this site. If you end up needing one more, I'll join in :)

Aside from my current focus on FFG's Star Wars games, Fate is one of my favorite systems. It makes so much sense using so little rules, that it's quite fun to explore for me. Maybe we can play a game of Fate sometime.
