Defensive Structures: None. No walled structures. No castles. Some ruins of old civilizations are scattered through the land. One notable ruin is the site of the former Yuoric settlement called Fort Morrow. It was a military outpost, built of wooden palisades and some stone and mortar. It was constructed and manned by the Jeresian Expeditionary Army about 50 miles northeast of Caerlleon after a truce was struck with the Heruli Clan. Other Dannein Clans in the area soon unified to overtake and destroy the fort, expelling the Jeresians about 20 years ago.
Military Units: No standing army. No specialized military units. Though it is true that every male Dannein is trained as a warrior, as are most children and women. Most Danneins will pick up a weapon and defend their clan and land if attacked. Likely 75+% of the population could and would mobilize for war if necessary.
