Months are moons, based on lunar cycle.
Singol: Seven nights (quarter change in moon cycle)
Tuangol: Fourteen nights (half change in moon cycle)
Year is divided into four main parts based on farming and hunting cycle, and marked by festivals symbolizing the transition of the world.
Samhain: When the world starts to darken into winter. The veil between the real world and the world of the dead becomes very thin.
Festival: New Year Festival (our world equivalent: 31 Oct).
Imbolc: New life is returning, usually announced by the birth of the first lamb. Festival: Awakening of the World (our world equivalent: 31 Jan)
Beltain: First blossoms of twisted branches and shoots of Danneinkiff trees. Festival: Summer Day (our world equivalent: 1 May)
Lughnasa: Endurance through another year facing upcoming approach to winter with as much supplies in store as possible. Festival: Harvest Home (our world equivalent: 31 July)
