Saris picks up his own weapons but puts all the rusty weapons away from the side that the pirates will be boarding. Saris looks about wondering where the cannons on this boat would be located.

I'm confused. What is Saris doing with the rusty weapons?
There is a line of 7 cannons on the main deck towards the stern. They have not fired a single shot since the engagement began.

saris wants to move all their weapons to the opposite side of the ship just so that they don't have access to them
Captain why haven't we used the cannons yet? We have time to get off at least one round of shots no?

Captain Bates is busy organising the defences but he turns and adresses you. I have ordered the cannons to be filled with grapeshot. If it looks like we are about to be overwhelmed I will have the crews fire them into the pirates. It will buy us a few precious moments to organise our defences. It's a one ticket trick. Once I've used it I won't be able to fire them again. Now prepare yourself.

It took a decent amount of time for the others to swim to the Dreadship. I'd say that 30 minutes have passed. The Dreadship looms closer and closer. The attack will come shortly. Are there any other preperations that you would like to make? How do you plan on boarding the pirate ship?

Saris climbs the mast an awaits for the other boats mast to get close enough so that he can jump or swing to the ships mast.

OOC:
Gotcha. Can you give me a dexterity attack roll to line up the ropes. I assume you're swinging from main mast to main mast (the most central position)?
Apr 18, 2017 4:51 pm
Yes that is correct

Rolls

Dex check - (1d20+1)

(7) + 1 = 8

The Dreadship launches its second attack and you line up your shot and swing over. Unfortunately, you miss your shot and fall crashing to the deck. No one seems to notice you. You look around and see several other pirates fall to the deck too.
Looking about the deck you see that Glorindel and Magak are in trouble.
OOC:
See the main thread for more details. You have been somewhat reunited with the rest of the party although they probably don't know it.

Rolls

Fall damage - (2d6)

(11) = 2
