You have the most pleasant dream. The sun is shinning on a beautiful day. There’s not a cloud in the sky and you don’t think you’ve ever seen a more beautiful shade of blue than the sky is now. You see a small, quiet village. Children are playing in the streets. You hear the sounds of commerce as merchants sell their wares. People are laughing, drinking and singing in the local tavern. You have never experienced such a peaceful dream before...

You dream of your old tavern in Lion’s Gate. It’s a typical evening and you launch into your final song of. Staring across the room your gaze is caught by a pair of beautiful eyes. You almost cease your performance then and there but somehow, you manage to finish your song. Your eyes never part for a moment and as soon as your finished. The man approaches and sits at the table right in front of you. He introduces himself. His name is Bran. You talk, you laugh and you drink late into the evening. The next morning the two of you sleep in late. You snuggle deep into his arms and just lie there enjoying the warmth. He learns in and whispers in your ear Never forget that I love you. His voice fades and the kast words that you hear are meet me in the new world. I’m waiting for you...

You dream of battle. You fight at the head of an army and you are facing an overwhelming enemy force. Your comrades look familiar but they are not the current members of your party. The enemy is arrayed against you but before you have the chance to engage them your vision suddenly shifts. Your consciousness drifts above the battlefield. You see Vaal the war God worshipped by your orc ancestors. He nods at you but says nothing. Instead understanding enters your very soul. Your comrades on the field below are those you have slain in battle, your foes are those you have yet to slay. You vision turns red...

You are in heaven. Litetally. You have died and gone to heaven. You open gout eyes but you can barely see. The light is so bright, yet your eyes feel no pain. You see row upon row of Angels singing Pelor’s praises and deep in the distance you can see the figure of Pelor himself. You try to make out the details of his form but you can’t. The light is just too bright. You are filled with a sense of purpose. You know that you are here because you are the chosen one of Pelor and your work has just begun...

You are sleeping in the forest. Your pups are crying. They are hungry so you lazily get to your feet. You join your pack mates and the hunt begins. It doesn’t take long before you catch the scent of your prey. You and your brothers and sisters catch site of your prey as it leaps across a stream. You let out a howl. The pack echoes your call. The creature bolts. It’s fast but not fast enough. You take turns nipping at the creature’s heels while the others hang back. The poor creature runs itself to death. You feel your teeth clamp down upon it’s throat. Your pups will eat well today...
For what feels like an aeon there is nothingness. Neither light nor sound breaks through this impenetrable blackness. Then you hear something. The words are slow to form but you do recognise the sounds.
Daddy Daddy! Look here’s another one. A little girl’s voice.
Then an older male voice You two help me get him to Father Bennett.
Then you feel pain. An unbearable agony flows through your body and you lose consciousness again. When you slowly regain consciousness you are lying in a nice soft bed. You feel terrible but you are somehow alive. You slowly sit up, fighting through the pain, and take in your surroundings. Your companions are in the same room as you. Each has their own bed and they look as bad as you feel. Checking up on each of you in turn is a man wearing robes of Pelor the Lord of Everlasting Light. He greets you warmly. Easy friends, I know you must have many questions. But take it slowly. What are your names and how did you come to be washed up upon our shores?
