OOC oddity

I've been noticing an odd behavior when clicking the OOC button - instead of placing the brackets where the cursor is, the brackets are inserted at the end of the last section of text - sometimes it's on the line below the text and other times it's at the very end of the text - but not where the cursor is.

I can reproduce this by simply hitting Enter a number of times to move the cursor down then clicking the OOC button

Agreed. And it's not just the OOC tag...Bold, Italic, Underline, and Spoiler have shown this behavior as well. I thought it was just an issue whilst posting form my mobile and changing phones, but I guess not if others are seeing it.

It may be that the tool I use to do the text editing is out of date. I know I've used this as an excuse a few times, but it's true... I'm working on redoing the entire site, in part because at this point, some of the code is 5 years old, in part because there are a lot of neat new features I want to give you guys that I can't on the current system. That said, I'll look into this one and see if I can't tweak it; if not, I hope it's not too much a hassle until I get the rework done, in which I'll be trying to use a fancy new WYSIWYG, so you won't need tags at all (I hope)!

I thought it was an issue with my mobile browser, and had just been inserting spaces to get the tags where I want them, so it's not a big deal to me. Take your time, I can't wait to see all these fancy new features!

I've been having this issue lately also, but so far it hasn't even risen to the level of mildly annoying, so I'm content that it can wait.
