Game: Initiation

Billy "Batts" Stagnetty, your closest friend from your neighborhood, you guys practically grew up together and formed your own little group and stuck together through everything. Last night, he told you he got into the mafia some weeks back and informed you he has a job tomorrow that, if you come and help him out, he could put in a good word for you and most likely get you a spot.

The next morning at the given time, per Billy's request, you all wait outside your apartment complex for him to arrive. About 15 minutes pass and a delivery truck shows up with Billy behind the wheel and Leo "Lil' Pecker" Tomasino riding passenger. Billy hops out, his face a bit peppered with anger, Leo stays in. Billy hops out and seeing you guys, he smiles and outstretches his arms "Thank fuckin' Christ, you guys are my saviors." he brings you guys in, one by one, for a hug "First, I find out I gots to bring fuck-stick in there along on the job. Then, I goes to pick him up and he ain't even awake, so's I gots to wait for him to be dressed by his mommy. Don't even get me started on the ride here, listening to his high pitched cry of a voice." he lets out a sigh of relief "I knew I could depend on you's three though. Truck only sits three up front, so's unless two of you's are okay with lap sittin', one of you sorry saps gotta ride in the back with Lil' Pecker."

He returns back to the truck and reaches into the front compartment, pulling out a large brown bag. He makes his way to the back of the truck and motions to the three of you to come over. Leo begins to get out before being yelled out by Billy to 'stay the fuck in the truck'. As you all huddle around Billy, he opens the bag revealing five pistols. He pauses before closing the bag "I'll let everyone take one before we reach our spot. Don't need any heat on us where we live, don't know who's watching." He grabs the bag and makes his way back to the front seat.

Shortly after, Leo exits and makes his way to where you three are, his shrill voice immediately lessens your moods "Hey guys! Did Billy tell you anything about this job? What'd he show you guys back here? Drugs? We selling drugs? Fuck yeah, people are gonna shit their pants when they see us mafia boys, heh."

His shrill voice peaks "Hey, you can't treat a mafia member like that. I'll feed you a bullet for every time you hit me, asshole."

"Speak for yourself; Billy's mafia, I'm on a job with Billy so I might as well be mafia." He grabs his junk through his pants "You sure like talkin' about the dick, huh. They don't let gays in the mafia, so you can sit this out and let the real men handle it." He claps Tommy on the shoulder and chuckles "Am I right?"

Leo flinches at the flicked match "You fuckers better start showing me respect. When I'm king of this shit, you'll all be fuckin' sorry. Once I get my gun, I won't have to watch shit." He climbs into the back of the truck while giving you a middle finger.

"I'm in the truck, dickstick. We're waiting on you assholes."The furthest end from the back has a good amount of boxes stacked on top of each other.

A serious tone you don't normally hear comes from Billy as he speaks "First part is a simple sell job to offload some product in the back, makes me feel more comfortable with my boys at my back." he puts the key into the ignition and starts the car "I'll go over the second part after we gain some distance from here." He begins driving the ride is mostly quiet with the exception of the back, where Leo constantly drones on how 'bad-ass' he's going to be.

You pull into the back of a general drug store, Billy turns the car off and leans over, opens the glove box and retrieves the brown bag that he showed you earlier. He looks at the two of you "Come on, I'll let you know the deal." and with that he exits the truck. You can hear him yell "Ey Leo, go tell the owner we're here." He makes his way to the back of the truck, placing the brown bag on the bed, and motions Joey to come over then waits for everyone, minus Leo, to group up.

When the three of you gather around him, he looks at each of you before starting "Going to be straight with you boys, this drop off is just a side job, a simple errand for some scrap cash. The real job is some schmuck thought he could disrespect the boss and I was chosen to perform the hit. I asked if I could bring my boys along with me, earn you a spot by my side. Obviously my request was accepted but on one condition...I had to bring Lil' Pecker along too. Now, I don't trust that fuck with a gun and think him getting a spot on the mafia will just go to his already enlarged ego." He pauses for a moment before quickly continuing so he gets everything he needs to say, said, before Leo returns with the owner. "When we go for the poor schmuck, I say we hit a two-for-one and smoke Leo while we're at it. I can pull the trigger for both, I just need your word that you'll stick to the story; base line: We went to complete our hit, we weren't expecting the target to have a gun, Leo got unlucky."

Billy quickly pulls a gun out of the bag and tucks it into his waist then ends with a nod to you three "I wouldn't ask any of you to do something you don't want. Fuck, you don't even have to be in the room when I do it but this is something I feel needs to happen. When I complete my hit I'll ask Leo to help me clean out his pockets, this is when anyone who doesn't want to be a part of it can leave out the room." He leaves the bag, allowing you to claim a gun if you wish.

As you pull the pistol out, Billy grabs your arm and pulls it down "Jesus, Paulie. You wanna let the cops know to? Keep that shit hidden for now before Lil' Pecker comes out and sees it. We shouldn't need guns for this. Let's start moving the boxes from the back closer to the end here." He grabs the brown bag and returns it to the glove box (Tommy, we can say you took one if you wanted).

Billy begins moving the boxes from the far end to the close end for a couple seconds before Leo walks out the back door "Fuckin' prick, no god damn respect that mother fucker." followed by an angry old man. Billy shouts for Leo to get in the truck, as he hops over the railing and runs to meet the man half way.

Leo begins to speak up "Billy, he..." before almost immediately getting interrupted by Billy, a yell you've only heard him use a handful of times letting people know he is in no-fucking-around mode "Leo, NOW!"

Leo stumbles back a bit before reluctantly crawling into the passenger side of the truck. Billy turns back to the store owner, a much quieter but still serious tone "I apologize, Mr. Miyamoto. What happened here?"

The old man's face calms a bit at the control and respect Billy showed "I've been dealing with the family for years now with no problem but I've never met such an insolent little brat. I don't want any trouble with you guys but I don't know what else to do if I'm treated the way he treated me." Much noticeable than before, his left eye has become swollen and red.

Billy grabs the man's face and looks at the swelling for a bit "I'm deeply sorry, Mr. Miyamoto, if I had known he would of treated you this way I would of sent one of my personal boys in to get you, not him. Rest assured, you can continue to deal with us with no problems; I'll tell the boss he is unfit for this delivery job and you won't see him in your store again, I promise you that, Mr. Miyamoto. I'll give you two boxes, one of each, on the house in hopes you don't think of The Family wrongly because one boy is on a power trip."

The man pats Billy on the hands "Now there's the kindness I'm used to." Billy gives the man a nod then turns to the three of you "Let's get the boxes in the store. Whites lids have cigarettes. Blue lids have wine, so be careful with those." The four of you begin bringing the boxes from the truck and into the store, Miyamoto gives Billy a stack of cash after a couple deliveries, and Billy yells at Leo to stay in the truck after he catches him starting to climb out of it. After you finish bring the last of the boxes in Miyamoto hands each of you 5 dollars, Billy hands back the money he was given "Thank you but after today's fiasco, I cannot accept it in good faith. Pay me when our drop offs go through without any problems."

Miyamoto thanks those who returns the offered cash, insisting that you four are too kind; he makes no mention or gives no criticism to anyone who kept it.

Billy gives a nod to the three of you, giving you the notion 'this is happening, get ready'. He climbs into the cab of the truck and you watch him argue with Leo for a moment before he forcefully pushes him out of the passenger door. He lights up a cigarette and starts the truck, waiting for everyone to get in.

As everyone loads up, Billy takes a final long draw on his cigarette before flicking it out of the window. He pulls out of the back lot and begins his drive, mostly in silence, only speaking if talked directly to. He pulls into an alleyway, pulls out his gun, checks it is fully loaded and ready to go, then stashes it back in his waistband.

Billy hops out of the truck "Leo, go scout up ahead make sure the streets are clear. Stay out of sight! You hear me?" Leo mumbles about how he isn't some kid he needs to baby, while making obscene gestures and foul language before leaving down the alleyway. He points to a warehouse up ahead, at the end of the alleyway "That's our spot. If you's got any questions, ask 'em now. I made some calls ahead, the warehouse should be cleared out except for our mark. Six bodies entered, four men leave."

Billy adjusts the gun in his waistband "Don't worry, none of us is going to be whacked for this job if we do it correctly. I didn't bother asking any question, other than where. I trust the Boss, I know he isn't stupid, he wouldn't of ordered a hit unless this guy deserved it. If you truly want to know, ask the Boss a little after you become apart of the Family. Stay on your toes." Billy begins walking forward towards the warehouse.
