Week of Remembrance

Nornin starts looking for the bridge.

Eldobik - She is breathing, eyes are fixed on Lysander's body, she is completely unresponsive.

Bacta - Clamoring on board of the ship you instantly spot the shadowy figures. roll an investigation check please

Nornin - Just behind the bow of the ship is a small room, with a table, some maps, several knobs, levers, and switches. You figure this should be the right place.

All - Tixhin finishing his work scurries on board the airship inspecting different parts of it usually muttering to himself.

you are unable to find anything to indicate what happened on board or their plans. You do know for sure the ship is not of eleven construction, but that of gnomes, not that it ever mattered to corsairs.

Push all the buttons pull all the levers!!

Bacta continues to look around the ship. If he finds nothing of interest he will head back out to talk matters over with the rest of the group.

Eldobik - she remains unresponsive, eyes fixed just breathing. Marcus comes over with a jet black sheild and crystal in his hands, it's sad, but she was bound to Lysander. Without him she had a large part of her torn out. Most dragons, in this situation, just lay comatose till they die.

Nornin & Bacta - The engines whine and several perpellers startup. Bacta, you see flaps moving indiscriminately, and an apparent random assortment of machinery all begin to function. Then with a loud bang the roaring engine dies, Tixhin, eyes wide, runs across the deck with a No, no, no, no.

Eldobik - Unfortunately, that knowledge is privy only to the paladins. With a sigh Marcus squats down gently pets Preta. Handing you Lysander's holy symbol and the black crystal he moves off to the airship. Please roll a d20

dont be daft young one. im just getting it in the air. Nornin goes over to the "wheel" and tries looking important.

All - Eldobik, a single tear rolls down your cheek dropping onto Lysander's holy symbol. in your other hand, the black crystal emanates a shadowy light covering both Preta and you. The holy symbol evaporates in your hand leaving glittering flakes before its gone. Preta's breathing slows and eventually halts, her body evaporates, scales first then flesh and bone. On the grass where she once was is a rather large egg, The light from the crystal soon fades. Bacta as this occurs your dagger also glows and stops with the crystal.

Marcus hands Bacta the shield, This is one of the relics that was taken. I will impart on you all I know, then I will be personally return my friends remains to the Paladins. He shares with you what little he knows about the woman, and the being that she calls father. Basically, she has one of the holy relics and is currently using it, and he suspects that somehow she can control people, both elves and humans, to further her own goals. The Father that she speaks of eerily sounds like the All Father that the church is based on, but has no evidence of any connection. The brute of a man that protects her he knows that he has strange markings on his skin that glow red giving him immense strength. Lastly, he informs you that the Venetores commander believed that Malphas was the key to defeating them, as he was "like them".

After some time Tixhin pokes his head out from below, Um, I think I found something. (for those who do) Following him below deck he leads you to a set of crates. Many of them are open with magic circles on all visible sides, It looks to me as if they are for people. Pointing inside, you can see shackles mounted to the bottom of the crate. Only one crate is sealed up, Tixhin, curiosity getting the better of him, touches one of the symbols. The lid, with a pop, swings open, peering inside you spot a halfling shackled and gagged inside.

Here ends The Week of Remembrance. The new Forum will continue the story in the next chapter, The Seven. Everyone gets 1800 exp(should be enough for everyone to get lvl4) and Eldobik gets 100 extra exp for a well timed ES Oblivion reference. Bacta gets 150 extra Exp for being the only one (other than Marcus) who actually fought anything. Nornin gets 50 extra exp for giving the enemy a back rub.
