You all awake to a knocking at your door, upon answering you see nothing except a letter pinned to your door.

Oh, interesting. Wastl makes sure his wares are safely stashed away, grabs his gear and heads out.

Do I know (of)
a) Bar K (what's the clientele etc.)?
b) Mx Lexi Boston-Terrier?

If the answer is no to either of those questions, I'm going to make some enquiries before heading to Bar K. I've probably heard of the Princess. :)

OOC:
You'd all know Bar K is the local tavern; being that, you'd know it is calm and a place where most people go if they want to get a drink or relax.

You'd all know Lexie is a close friend of the Princess and usually acts as the middledog between royalty and common folk.
Aug 11, 2017 10:02 pm
In that case I'll get another couple of hours of sleep (being mostly nocturnal) and then head to Bar K for noon.
Aug 11, 2017 10:11 pm
Jack, the russel-terrier, wakes quickly at the noise and looks around, slightly confused. It takes a moment to remember that he's actually at an inn this night, rather than under the stars as he usually is.

He retrieves the letter and, after reading it twice, folds it up and tucks it safely into his belt pouch. He grabs his gear and heads to Bar K about two hours early and takes a corner seat to await the arrival of Lexie.
Aug 12, 2017 12:18 am
As Marvin reads the letter, reading "good dogs" made his ears perk up and "protecting your home" got his tail wagging. He excitedly filled his rucksack and headed to Bar K. Just like the letter said, he was shown to a table but with a surprise waiting for him. Marvin knew he was early. He just couldn't contain his excitement. But apparently he wasn't too early! There was another dog there! Before he could think about taking a seat, Marvin wore a huge smile and extended a paw to the soon-to-be friend, "Hi there! Great to meet you! I'm Marvin. Marvin French-Bulldog."

Jack, unused to such enthusiastic greetings, shakes paws with the newcomer, "Jack, Russell-Terrier," he says with a nod, but not a smile, "What are you doing here?" he asks, guessing that he's here for the same reason as himself.

Marvin chuckles at the question. "We both got a letter!" The dog never seems to stop smiling. "Why else would they sit us together?"
Aug 12, 2017 12:21 pm
Much closer to noon, another dog arrives, head shaped much like that of a fox terrier but somewhat rounder, with very short instead of curly hair. He's wearing a very dark blue cloak, a belted lighter blue tunic and black breeches tucked into soft boots. A dagger is sheathed at his belt and a backpack slung over his shoulders. He looks around the room, then heads to the bar, shows something to the barmaid who points to the table in the corner. The mutt orders a bowl of ale, pays for it and says something to the barmaid that makes her giggle, then wanders over, eyeing the other two.

Greetings, gentle dogs. May I sit? We seem to have been summoned by the same person.
Aug 12, 2017 4:10 pm
Being a speedy runner, Champ should have arrived at Bar K before anyone else. But after grabbing his gear and heading excitedly out his door with Lexie Boston-Terrier's letter tucked in his pocket, he was distracted by a scarlet-breasted bird that happened to hop across his path. Having never seen a bird of that sort before, Champ followed the little fellow curiously clear across town before he remembered the summons. And then on his way back he couldn't resist watching a bright emerald grasshopper he spotted in Annie Poodle's rose garden and well, Champ simply lost track of time!

With only a minute to spare before the appointed meeting time, Champ bursts into the tavern, tongue lolling out from running, waving the letter in the air. "Hi! Am I late? Oh, I hope I'm not late!"

You feel a paw touch your shoulder from behind "Not at all dear; you're right on time if you ask me." You turn and see a smiling dog, who you recognize to be Lady Lexie. "Come, let's get you a chair and a bowl of water." She leads you to the designated table, giving a friendly nod to the three who are already sitting there.

A bar maiden follows to the table "So, that's two waters. Is there anything else I can get you?"

Lexie interjects "It is all payed for by the Princess, as thanks for your service."
Aug 14, 2017 8:25 pm
I wouldn't say no to a bite to eat!, Wastl pipes up. And a bowl of ... water, I guess. Thank you, Lady Lexie.
After a quick look at the others, he folds his arms, waiting for the impending news.
Aug 15, 2017 8:13 am
Lexie, who's smile hasn't faltered one bit, replies "Please, just Lexie is fine."

The bar maiden takes any other orders before walking to the back, bringing out plates of steaming meat and bowls of water for those that requested. After everyone has their meals and water and the bar maiden leaves, Lexie leans in "So, as you may or may not have known, our lovely town has had a bit of a bandit problem as of late. While there is no way to prove it, I believe they were sent by the cats from the town over to try and improve their borders. We've been tasked with taking them out, lethally or otherwise, to show them we can't be so easily pushed around. Now, enough about business stuff," She gets up, practically on the edge of the seat "and talk about the interesting stuff. After we finish securing our borders, I have learned of a temple of man that has been long forgotten, overtaken and hidden by nature. My intel suggest that man has been spotted roaming around; perhaps it is just a fallacy but even the minute chance of seeing man again is exiting enough to me to want to at least check it."
Aug 15, 2017 2:23 pm
"Oooh! This is very exciting! Do you really think we'll get to see man? Will he pet us, you think? Or give us a belly scratch?!?!?!" Tail wagging crazily, Champ seems to have forgotten about the bandits, and latched onto the "interesting stuff" as Lexie put it.
Aug 15, 2017 3:03 pm
Jack merely smiles at Lexie and gives her a friendly nod, then listens quietly as she tells them of the bandits. His ears perk up at the mention of a lost temple of man and his tongue comes out of his mouth as she mentions that a real man has been spotted, "Whoa... what would this mean for all of us if this were true? It might be nice to have a master to take care of us!"

Wastl frowns.
Cats, eh? They've been encroaching on my territory, too. Wouldn't mind a chance to hurt their business a little.
He looks at Champ and Jack.
Man? Seriously? That old wives' tale? Sure, somebody built all those old places we keep finding but it's very obvious that they're long gone. Maybe another trick by the cats? Their magic is creepy as heck.
Aug 15, 2017 10:04 pm
Lexie shares Champ's enthusiasm "I bet he'll give us at least ten belly scratches, each!" She turns to Jack "I don't know but whatever it means it can only be good."

While her smile doesn't fade, her tone of excitement does "We're not hurting their business, not yet at least, only getting them out of ours. If they continue to press though, we will be sure to answer accordingly. It maybe just a trick by the cats and it's clear that Man is long gone from the temples we've come across. But I feel this is different, this one isn't out in the open like the others, maybe Man is just hiding."
Aug 16, 2017 11:40 am
Wastl nods.
Right, let's first make sure no more good dogs are hurt, then find out who's behind it and then we'll hurt those responsible. And then, maybe after a meal and a bowl or two and a nice nap, we'll see what's up in that temple.
So, tell us more about those bandits. Who have they been targeting?
Aug 16, 2017 2:16 pm
Marvin mirrors Champ's excited tail wagging. "Cats?? Man??! This is amazing!" Once the focus is turned back to the bandits, he calms down. "Right. This is serious. We have to protect Pugmire and be good dogs." With that, his tail starts wagging again, full speed and almost panting with excitement.
Aug 18, 2017 9:32 am
"There isn't much known about them, they usually act during the night; that is why I suspect it's the work of the cats. As for who they target, they seem to take whatever they can get; stolen profits from shops that close up for the night, burned caravans, and traps along pathways endangering anyone who just wants to walk. I've come up with two plans of actions we can take. First one is we search the forest, perhaps they have some sort of hide out we can find. The second is we try and lure them with a caravan, bit pricier but probably more effective."
Aug 18, 2017 10:47 am
Hm. From what I've heard there seem to be nastier things than cats and badgers in the woods so roaming there without an idea where to go might not be the safest plan. Catching them red-pawed would be my preferred option. We can prepare a caravan so they see a target if they have spies in town but we would only need a couple of wagons and those that actually go out can be stacked with sacks and crates filled with rubbish, rocks and straw with enough space for us to hide in. We would obviously need a couple of drivers who aren't afraid of getting into a scrap, either.
OOC:
Can I use Odds and Ends for help with arranging what we need or at least find someone who can help us?
Aug 18, 2017 11:27 am
Marvin looks worried. "Why would we put innocents in danger? We can handle ourselves in the forest."
OOC:
Marvin will agree to the other choice if reassured of the driver's safety.
Aug 18, 2017 12:12 pm
We're not going to force anyone to do this. I'm sure we'll find some volunteers. It would only raise suspicion if a caravan were suddenly run by well-armed dogs. We need to pose as an easy target.
Aug 18, 2017 12:47 pm
"It would be easy enough for us to post as caravan workers. Those of us with heavier armor can remain in the back while I drive the wagon. I'll keep my bow ready under the seat and then we won't have to put anyone else in danger," Jack says, suggesting a way to cause minimum danger to anyone else.
Aug 18, 2017 2:12 pm
"Oooh I can pretend to be a driver! Yeah!" Champ volunteers. "We could load the caravan with catnip! I hear the cats love that stuff!"
Aug 18, 2017 3:31 pm
Right, that's OK, then.
Wastl turns to Lexi.
As I understand it, we only suspect cats might be behind the attacks but cats weren't actually seen at the scene? If that's the case using something that would specifically interest cats might tell them we're onto them. Also, ::innocent face:: isn't catnip ... illegal?
Aug 20, 2017 9:43 am
OOC:
No need for Odds and Ends in this instance. You are helping the town under the name of Yosha Pug, so everything needed will be covered by the royal family.
Lexie nods "Correct, we only suspect it to be cats; in theory, it can honestly be anything doing this." She ponders your next question for a second "I don't see why a plant that hardly shows up in the dog kingdom and has little to no effect on us would be illegal. Maybe it's illegal in the cat kingdom, I don't know to be honest though."
Aug 20, 2017 10:13 am
Right, then it should be similar cargo to what they targeted before.
Regarding catnip, I hear there are good prices being asked and paid in certain areas of Riverwall. I haven't looked at where the supply comes from but it all seems to be a bit hush hush.
OOC:
I'm making this up as I go along but I like the idea of catnip being illicit and there being 'nip dens where cats go to get zonked out. ;)
Last edited August 20, 2017 10:29 am
Aug 20, 2017 9:10 pm
OOC:
No worries. I am more than fine having it illicit amongst the cat community and having secret 'nip dens in their towns and cities. However, cats would have a monopoly on the stuff because it has the strongest effect on them and they would seldom sell to a dog, especially at good prices. And most, if not all, dogs don't care about the stuff and most likely wouldn't pay over a few plastics for a couple baskets worth.
Aug 21, 2017 1:01 pm
Marvin nods in approval to this plan, his tail wagging at its usual pace. "Ok, what do I do?"
Aug 21, 2017 1:04 pm
"Sounds simple enough," Jack says, "When do we begin?"
Aug 22, 2017 6:52 am
"We gather the caravan and those who look more imposing can be our 'cargo', hiding in the back. I don't need weapons so I can act as an easy target while the rest of you lay in wait to ambush their ambush. I would feel more comfortable with a second dog up front with me though, preferably someone with an easily concealable weapon." Lexie turns to Jack "I guess when ever. We can begin by spreading word around town about important cargo that needs to make it to Barkborough and hope the thieves ears catch wind of it as well."
Aug 22, 2017 10:53 am
Marvin stands up with excitement. "Alright. Let's do it!" He quickly sits back down, embarrassed as he mumbles, "Sorry."
Aug 22, 2017 1:02 pm
Lexie, I'm happy to be up front as well, my dagger is easily hidden and I'll hide my small crossbow by my feet.
I'll get some dogs to spread a little info in Riverwall where it might get picked up by eager ears. Where and when do we meet to head out?
Aug 22, 2017 7:23 pm
"Yeah, when do we set out? And what can I do to help in the meantime?"
Aug 23, 2017 5:01 pm
"I'm not heavily armed, but I can stay in the middle in order to assist from any side."
Aug 24, 2017 8:26 am
"We don't want them to expect us, we want them to think we are unaware merchants bringing their goods to sell. If we have dogs surrounding the caravan they'll know something is up and might not act." Lexie pauses for a moment "Let's meet at the park, same time as this meeting, tomorrow; that way we avoid suspiscion of meeting in the same place twice. As for what you can do in the meantime, stay here and enjoy yourself for a bit, everything will be free of charge to you. Spread rumor of this 'important shipment' then gather anything that you can help hide you in the back of the caravan."
[ +- ] This was loosely my idea of what they'd be riding. With two dogs up front and the rest hiding in the back.
Aug 24, 2017 11:21 am
"Sounds good to me. I'll head back to Riverwall, start some rumours among my customers and make sure everything's ready for tomorrow.
OOC:
Wastl will drop some hints to dogs friendly to him who can then spread the rumour further. He'll also make sure any business is taken care of before he heads out and tell one of his helpers he might be gone for a couple of days.
How do we handle downtime/scenes where everybody goes off to do their own thing?
Wastl will be on the chuck wagon. ;)
Aug 24, 2017 1:47 pm
OOC:
You can do a quick ooc of what you want to do during the downtime or you can RP it out; when everyone is ready, I'll most likely do a DM hand wavey time leap to tomorrow.
Aug 25, 2017 2:54 pm
Marvin sticks near to Champ until it's time to meet up for their adventure the next day. "Hiya!" He happily greets Champ. "I'm Marvin. Looks like we'll be in the back of the wagon together! I just want to say that you can count on me!"
Aug 25, 2017 3:13 pm
Champ shakes Marvin's paw. "Pleased to meet you, Marvin! I'm Champ. You can count on me too! You sure can! Ooh, look, that cloud is shaped like a butterfly!"
OOC:
I sure hope dogs don't smell each others' butts in Pugmire!
Aug 26, 2017 10:12 pm
OOC:
Dogs shake paws if they are civilized. If they aren’t, they sniff paws. Sniffing
butts is seen as feral, a throwback to older times and something only canines do.
"A butterfly? Where?!" Marvin looks around but not up.
Sep 17, 2017 5:26 pm
You spend the rest of the day enjoying free food and drink and spreading news about a glorious shipment due to leave tomorrow. As the sun begins to fall, you all return to your resting place and get a good nights rest.

As you awake in the morning, you ready yourself and gather your things before making your way to the park. You see Lexie, awaiting you this time, dressed in a fine robe; smiling as you all trickle in and gather around. As the last of you arrive, she addresses you quietly "So the cart is ready, filled with a couple barrels of dog food to give it a bit more weight. If there is no other questions, we can make our way to where the cart rests."
Sep 17, 2017 6:22 pm
To make up for yesterday Champ makes sure to be the first to show up this day. "Good morning!" the mutt greets Lexie eagerly. "I'm all set."

Wastl is dressed in similar clothes to yesterday, although this time in muted browns and greens.
He greets Lexi with a curt bow and a smile and the others with a hearty pawshake. He stores his small crossbow under one of the cart seats, climbs up and makes sure his rapier is well hidden under his cloak yet easily drawn.
Right, let's see if we can make this work.
Sep 17, 2017 11:18 pm
Jack shows up right after Champ, "I"m ready whenever you are," he says with a slight bow to the others.
Sep 17, 2017 11:29 pm
Arriving with Champ, Marvin gets in the back with his similarly armored pal and gives an excited, "Let's go be heroes!"
Sep 18, 2017 1:34 am
She rubs her paws together with a smile "I like your enthusiasms. Let's go." She leads you to one of the four gates out of town, where you see the cart waiting for you. You all gather in to your appointed positions; those in the back find a crossbow already back there.

With a gentle nudge, Lexie ushers the horses forward, the cart exits through the gate, and you begin down the road.
OOC:
Wastl, give me a sneak check to see how well you hide your rapier and hand crossbow.
Everyone give me a notice check.

A javelin slams into the cart, between Wastl and Lexie, a voice calls out just seconds after "We have you two surrounded; surrender your weapons, let us relieve you of your merchandise, and you may leave unharmed with your lives intact."
Sep 18, 2017 5:06 pm
Jack whispers to the others, "Two cats out there..."

He quietly grabs his bow and nocks an arrow.
Sep 18, 2017 5:51 pm
Wastl whispers "Cats!" at Lexie but it's too late.

He puts up his paws up but tries to make sure his cloak doesn't fall open to reveal his rapier.
"We don't have any weapons and are simple Man-fearing merchants who supply our own kind. I doubt our supplies will be to your refined tastes."
Under his breath he adds,
I can only see two, in the bushes.

The voices calls out again "If you wish to lie, you should get smaller weapons or better concealing skills and leave whether or not your supplies strike our fancy to us. Weigh your options, foolish dog, there is six of us and two of you; you're outmatched, outnumbered, and outarmed. I give you one last chance to do things peacefully before we leave your bodies lost in the forest."
Sep 18, 2017 6:54 pm
Lexie raises her paws and nods at Wastl, under her breath she whispers "We are the decoys, toss your weapons, let them get close; out of the trees, out of their defenses."
Sep 18, 2017 7:40 pm
Wastl lifts his rapier and crossbow theatrically into the air and drops them over his side of the cart and waves his paws in the air.
"There."
Sep 18, 2017 8:03 pm
There is an eerie silence for a moment after the weapons clink on the ground before the voice calls out again "Smart move, dog." Three heavily cloaked figures appear from the trees and begin towards the cart. The voice calls out again "Stay seated where you are, keep your paws raised, and we'll let you walk home, instead of crawl."

The two smaller figures flank on each side of the front, each keeping an eye on Westl and Lexie. The larger figure makes his way to the back and begins to mess with the flap.

The flap is tossed open and Jack's arrow speeds forward, finding it's mark and producing a yelp that is quickly silenced as champ leaps out, digging his rapier into the throat of the cloaked figure.
OOC:
Wastl, I was under the impression you had a rapier but your sheet says dagger; if that is the case, you would of been able to hide a dagger on your person no problem.
Sep 18, 2017 8:49 pm
OOC:
Wastl stocked up. :) Also, Wastl kept the dagger as I assumed that was easily hidden.
Wastl waits until the two figures are distracted by the sounds of fighting from the back, looking for an opportunity to strike.

Champ starts running around the wagon brandishing his rapier. "Where'd they go? They said there were six of 'em! Lemme at 'em!"
Sep 20, 2017 8:56 am
OOC:
Then I'll do that in the next round. I can't do Precise Attack, anyway, just want to sneak around the figure.
Sep 20, 2017 5:38 pm
Marvin stands protectively by Lexie, not seeing any cats now. "Got anything, Jack?"
OOC:
I guess we'll call this holding my action?

Jack shakes his head, "No. I smelled two. Two's dead. Sounds right to me."
Sep 20, 2017 6:37 pm
"I think they were lying Champ, I think it was just the three; the last of which ran off and disappeared into the woods." Lexie retrieves her crossbow from the back and looks out into the woods. She points at a tree "There, hiding in that bush about 60 feet."
OOC:
It just occurred to me that searching takes an action. I'll honor your previous turn of Dashing and Searching Wastl because that was my mistake. Those with ranged weapons that haven't gone yet may attack now, those with melee weapons that haven't gone yet have to dash if they want. I believe Jack, Champ, and Marvin haven't used their actions yet.
Sep 20, 2017 6:47 pm
OOC:
Then Wastl waits to see if the others' actions cause the figure to jump up and run and hopefully end up in his arms.
Sep 20, 2017 6:50 pm
Jack nods, levels his bow at the bush, and releases his arrow.

1d8+3 : (4) + 3 = 7

Champ makes a beeline for the indicated bush. Dash action.
Sep 20, 2017 7:17 pm
Jack's arrow sails through the woods, embedding itself into a tree trunk a little off mark.

Champ rushes forward, doing his best to avoid low-hanging branches and tripping over roots, and makes his way to the appointed bush.
Sep 20, 2017 9:04 pm
Marvin lowers his weapons and turns to Lexie. "I can't catch up to them, but I can stay here with you, Miss." Marvin smiles and wags his tail.
Sep 20, 2017 9:17 pm
Lexie smiles back at Marvin. "You have my thanks, Marvin. It is more than likely a lie, that there was more than three, but do keep your eyes peeled just in case."
Sep 20, 2017 9:20 pm
Champ and Wastl, you see the need for self-perseverance in the cloaked figures eyes. It quickly dodges and weaves through before you have a chance to react (disengage) before running 60 feet further into the woods.
OOC:
It is 60 feet away again (From Champ and Wastl; 120 from Jack, Marvin, and Lexie) but this time it didn't get to hide.

Player turn.
Sep 21, 2017 1:40 am
Lexie aims in her crossbow and releases a bolt...it flies through the woods hitting a tree and getting thrown off-course.
Sep 21, 2017 1:46 am
Jack moves thirty feet closer to get a better angle and fires another arrow.
OOC:
Boom!

The arrow sails perfectly through the woods, catching the figure right as it leaves itself open to continue running. The arrow strikes it in the back and sinks down to the fletching; the body falls with no further movement.
Sep 21, 2017 8:02 am
Wastl dashes after the fleeing figure but Jack's arrow gets there before him so when he gets there he rolls over the body and see if it's still alive and if it's actually a cat.
Sep 21, 2017 9:04 am
Flipping over the body, it is easy to tell it is far from alive; it is a cat however.
Sep 21, 2017 9:24 am
Wastl curses under his breath. "Now we can't interrogate him."
He then searches the cat's pockets/pouches for anything that might point at his identity or origin.
OOC:
I thought reducing to 0 Stamina doesn't automatically mean death?

At Lexie's behest, Marvin begins to scan the area, watchful for anything else. He watches Wastl's chase end and gets distracted from his watch. He frowns as Jack's crossbow bolt stops the cat and Wastl stops running. "I think it's done." He mumbles to Lexie.
Sep 21, 2017 12:04 pm
Jack nods, It is done," he says, and then turns around to check on the other cat bodies.

The cat has nothing in it pockets and you find no form of pouches anywhere on it. Aside from a mace, a javelin, and a set of cloaked armor, it has nothing. While searching however, you do find a bald patch on the underside of its arm, as if it was shaved and a brand in the shape of two crossed bones.

Searching the other small one, you find the same; an itemless cat—aside for the two weapons and armor—with the same shaved patch two bones cross.

Searching the larger one, reveals it is actually a dog. It has nothing in it's pockets and only seem to own a battleaxe, a shortbow, and a set of cloaked armor. It has the same shaved spot but instead of the two crossed bones, it is a brand of two fish skeletons forming a circle.
OOC:
I couldn't find anything dealing with what happens to monsters that drop to 0, only players, so I'll be using what I'm most familiar with. That being the case, unless it is otherwie stated, all damage players do will be lethal.
Sep 21, 2017 2:36 pm
Marvin feels a paw on his shoulder and gets a smile from Lexie "Don't be so glum; we are good dogs, we protected our home."
Sep 21, 2017 2:37 pm
"Hey! One of these is a dog... and they all have brands. Anyone want to see if they recognize them?"

Wastl calls to the others: Hey, look at this! and points at the shaved spot on the cat's body.
Have any of you seen something like this?
OOC:
or has Wastl?
Too bad they're dead and we couldn't question them. This could be gang sign so they were probably not alone.
OOC:
Fair enough!
Sep 21, 2017 2:58 pm
HypCo sent a note to Naatkinson
OOC:
Nope, nobody has seen anything resembling the brands before today.
Sep 21, 2017 3:56 pm
"Yeah they said there were six of 'em."
OOC:
Champ tries his best, but sometimes he's slow on the uptake.
Sep 21, 2017 4:18 pm
Jack waves Champ's comment away, "A common intimidation tactic."
Sep 21, 2017 4:32 pm
"Well it didn't scare us!" Champ says, proudly puffing out his chest and brandishing his rapier.
Sep 21, 2017 5:22 pm
"If dogs were working with cats I'm not sure if they'd give any answers." Lexie tries to ease Wastl's dilemma "I do believe Jack is right, that it was just an intimidation tactic this time. I do apologize but I think we have to post-pone my personal request for the time being; at least until we deliver the news of these brands and dogs and cats working in tandem. Come, we have to make haste." She climbs into the driver seat and tosses her crossbow at her feet then waits a moment for everyone to load up.

Much less concerned about looking the part of a traveling merchant cart, the pace is quickened and you make it back to town fairly quick. "I do apologize again, I was just expecting a common bandit group or something of the like. If you'd like meet me at Bar K again, informing shouldn't take that long; feel free to tell the owner anything you get will be covered for. I have to run now, see you soon." After that she hurriedly makes her way down the street.
OOC:
Feel free to do as you wish. Also, everyone advance to 2nd level.
Sep 21, 2017 6:10 pm
Wastl picks up the weapons he left behind as well as the bandits'.
Anyone want any of these? If not, I know a few good dogs who could make use of them.

He'll then pass the time at the tavern with a couple of bowls of ale and food, discussing the weird brands with the others but making sure they aren't overheard.
Sep 28, 2017 12:04 pm
[bump]
Marvin waves dismissively at the weapons. "No, thank you."
He joins Wastl at the tavern, unwinding after all the excitement. "Those sure are strange marks. Why would a dog do that to themselves?"
Sep 28, 2017 1:45 pm
"The dog's presence there is troubling. What kind of dog sides with cats against his own kind?" Jack asks, sipping from a glass of water.
Sep 30, 2017 2:44 pm
Champ spends the rest of the day and the next practicing his swordplay. The fight at the wagon was the very first real fight he's ever fought and his head is filled with thoughts of grand adventure.
