DnD Beyond Opinions

With the system being live for a week now, has anyone here used it? What do you think? Pros and cons?

Personally, I'm waiting a while before I jump on. I want to see how it's supported and what new features are implemented.

Without knowing a thing, and a stickler for gaming on the cheap, I will say that it is about time that the sleeping dragon has arisen.

There is one thing that D&D inherited from its father, Gygax, the emphasis on face to face play. I think the game was so into this, so badly, that it missed out on becoming the premier fantasy grounds type of game. We got close, very very very close with Neverwinter Nights 1, but I am sure Hasbro wanted books books books (3e) and miniatures miniatures miniatures (which I still think is the reason for 4e) that it missed the boat.

BUT I read an article in PLAYBOY no less where D&D may be going through another golden age.
