1500 T-5 till the storm sets in proper
"Its like I said Wings he ain't coming, we've been boosting across this city for a week and the most we saw of your fucking boogyman was a blur on the horizon." The group had been waiting since dawn, sitting in the sun, watching the storm clouds engulf the city, waiting for Twilight, and patience was wearing thin. They had seen him around, heard tale of his unique methods of travel- what inspired them to get together in the first place- but somehow they never seemed to catch him in the act, and at this point there was some doubt to the veracity of his reputation.
"Dont worry, he'll show, we made sure everyone would let him know. You think anyone who has that many people telling stories about him wont care?"
"Maybe hes right, we said dawn, and we'll end up stuck in the storm if we wait any longer, hes probably back at Pop's laughing ..his .....

.head off." before she could finish though a familiar figure flipped over the edge of the roof, they stood, half shocked silent, half attempting to look intimidating. He walked towards them slowly eyes on the horizon, then as he reached the center of the gang before he speaks his challenge "Keep up!"

The race was a blur, they flew out into the swirling toxic winds and rickety pathways through the city towards Armstrong's tower, the destination set in the initial challenge by the newcomer gang. More than a couple hours away the race was half speed run, half endurance challenge.

Twilight was slow at first, after push off they began to quickly overtake him. After the first few minutes even the slowest of their group were about to roll past him, then as they came round a corer and looked back he was gone. They stopped in confusion as they tried to make sense of that moment, then one let out a shocked gasp as they found saw the answer . He had jumped, out into empty space, the nearest roof 30~40 metres down, but he flew straight as if guided by wire onto a girder piercing up from the roof below. Barely wide enough to fit his board yet he rode down it's length as if they was nothing but solid ground all around him.

And then the rain started, only a drizzle, a precursor to the real storm but more than enough. They may well have been walking at that point, sure they could make it through the weather but Twilight didn't seem to even notice it. In the end it was down to him and the three that had spoken just before his arrival. They had made it to the last stretch and fallen skyscraper which formed a bridge into Canary's block.
Spirits were high the trio were a quarter of the way down its length before Twilight crested it tip. KickSkirt, in the lead of the three took a moment to look back through the growing downpour, triumphant smile on her face. *POP* suddenly a wheel on her board flew out and the others could only watch as she spun out, slipped and crashed through a window down into the ruined insides of the building.

The others rode on, too stunned to stop, too focused to slow down but without hesitation Twilight kicked his board into a shallow, dive-like jump towards the darkness .

No one saw what happened down there, how Twilight made his way through obstacles in the darkness, perhaps most impressive of all though is at the end of it all how he emerged ahead of his remaining two opponents, fallen competitor slung over his shoulder.
As the storm set in they waited it out in the comfort of Armstrong's lobby and traded stories of the city.
