Pops love letter

Storms are rarely good for business: Not only do they keep customers away and test your emergency preparations, but they keep the folks already there from having anywhere else to flee. Tensions rise, tempers flare, and every so often, someone does something they regret. Dealing with that, of course, is your specialty... time to prove your mettle.

Roll Hot: On a 10+ pick 1. On a 7-9 pick 2. On a miss, all 3.

*Lamprey and Lits are starting to get chummy with one another. Normally they fight like skyats and windogs, but something has brought them together recently, and neither of them are sayin' shit about it... Problematic, because the last thing you need is Lamprey's habits rubbing off on good ol' Lits.

*Ba, who's had a bit too much coffee, starts eyeballing Toyota. Camo knows that they've got beef, and Toyota owes the bouncer money; looks like you might have to settle this one solo...

*Gams just so happens to be stuck outside during the storm, and is presently pounding at the door you just finished shoring up against the storm, shouting about your debt. Do you let Gams in and risk the storm coming along for the ride, or leave them to their fate?

Christ things got out of hand in a hurry. First thing's first- Gams pounding at the door screaming her head off. On his way to the door Pops shoots his most furious glance toward Lamprey. "I got my eye on you. Maybe you'd like to take her place." He says, pointing to the boarded door.

"And you-" He points to Ba, sitting his his usual seat. "My office. We need to talk."

Producing a hammer from his waist Pops starts prying the the nails from the boards blocking the door. "Fucking Christ.. he mutters under his breath as the door begins to bang against the boards from the sheer wind force. This storm won't pass quickly and he's half tempted to leave Gams out in it...if only he was sure she would plummet to her timely death...

"Coming Gammy Baby. Just a second..." He howls while prying the boards loose.

Lamprey raised his greasy palms defensively at Pop's statement, breaking eye contact quickly, but shooting a laughing smirk towards Lits. Lits chuckled quietly behind a cup of coffee, finishing the sip before meandering over to help pry the boards off the door. Ba blinked, shaking his head a bit as if awakened from a daydream. He nodded and made his way over to the office, but not before shooting Toyota one last withering glare. Toyota, fortunately, seemed blissfully unaware of the proceedings, and continued musing silently at the weathered newspaper sudoku spread on the table before him.

Gams was doing her best to keep cool outside... if screeching in shrill terror and kicking a barricaded door with pumps on could be considered "keeping cool". The moment the opportunity presented itself, she would dive into Pop's arms theatrically, her cheeks running black with eye liner made from printer toner, her dingy black hair sticking to her forehead and temples in an entirely undignified manner. Her highlighter blue fingernails would clutch at Pop's jacket as she shoved her head against his chest, weeping miserably as she lurched inside.

"Gawd! Fawkin'! Dammit! Stupid, stupid, STUPID STORM! Pappy, honey, be a dawll n' make me a cuppa?"
