"But no worries, folks, I'll keep you up to date, all night long. So hold your heads up high, and your eyes off the ground — Armstrong OUT!"
After finishing the broadcast, Armstrong takes a big, self-satisfied gulp of his cold coffee, and turns off the mic. Time for some music.
The room he’s in is a dimly lit, tight mess of cables, knobs, and coffee-stains. There's a small window to the side that's barraged by the heavy rain. He leans back in his seat just when Lark comes in.
"Might’ve not gone through."
"What?"
"Swan just told me. There’s bits and pieces that makes it to the radio, but mostly it’s garbled nonsense."
"Well god dammit. Anything wrong with the antennas?"
"All fine. Just checked. Might be the storm, but I have no idea."
"Yeah, well we gotta keep the people up to date on this thing. Frog said there’s something big coming, and I trust that nutjob." Armstrong gets up, looks over to his locker. "You know what. I’m gonna go outside before it gets real nasty, look for Lattice to fix it."
"Sounds like a bad idea."
"Well it’s a bad idea sorta day. Now you and the boys, you sit tight. Reckon I’ll be back quick."
Lark just nods as Armstrong throws on a rain coat – made from brightly colored but dirty plastic bags – to head outside.

OOC:
Unless there's a reason to look someplace else, he'll be going over to Lattice's workshop.
