Hello there, all you beautiful people!

I am a long time DM and rarely get to play anymore. I was looking for someone to run a game for me as perhaps a solo play-by-post. I have a couple of character concepts I want to try out but never get a chance too. If this sounds interesting to you, I would love to chat. Here's hoping we get to game together a bit!

Neat idea! Shark Bone Podcast has done something similar here (more of a story-telling thing, no players, just him).

Also, just moving this to a more appropriate forum :)

Do you have a specific type of adventure that you'd like to try out?

I like grand adventure stuff with a heavy dose of realism. Think ASoIaF mixed with LotR. I love refraining history in fantasy. For a couple of ideas:

1. Playing through something like the Slavic revolt against the Vikings from the perspective of the Slavs, using Humans in place of Vikings, and Orcs in place of the Slavs, in which I would play a Half-Orc Barbarian.

2. Playing through something like the Jewish conquest of the Holy Land from the perspective of the conquerers. Maybe as Humans overthrowing the Humans in a region to found a Dragonborn/Orc/Minotaur empire.

3. Playing through something like the unfication of Greece against the Persian invasion.

Those are just some ideas to get the juices flowing.

I'd be up for it depending on the system. I'm not sure if it counts as epic adventure, but I have to say that the very first thing I thought of when read your post was actually Wraith: The Oblivion run with the Great War supplement. Would you consider fiction as opposed to history, i.e. a gameified version of Moby Dick, or something like that?

Hope you don't mind if I were to hover around your game. Ha Ha! I have been a huge fan of the show since the show was released and I would love to see how one of the hosts play.

Oh man, I would love to DM for you. I have 4 other games going right now though in top of looking for work (just got fired and just graduated college). I have a West Marches style game going now, not sure if that interests you at all. It is geared toward realism but it us still fantasy, so some stuff is forgiven. We just had our first death and no one is level 2 yet. A brown bear killed him in one attack. It was crazy high rolls. Here is the link if you want to check it out. If I get more time in the near future I'll send you a message.
-P.S. Love the show. It has inspired many stories for my own games.
