Minted currency is not pervasive throughout the land, but all coinage in Heshba is minted in Gelshemish under the order of the Sar. It is circulated to and from the markets in large cities a few times a year.

Foreign coins are accepted in most markets, with Kortellan money likely most preferred.

Bartering is still a large part of the economy and in a broad scale is more the manner of exchange among parties in areas outside of the few major cities.

There are generally only 3 coins minted in Heshba, though some rare extraordinary coins have been put in circulation in the past.

putrah (pl. putrat) = 1 cp

kesh (pl. keshat) = 1 sp (the most common denomination)

shoval (pl. shovalt) = 1 gp
